Might be Selling my Knex (RR)

Hey everyone,

So I might be selling my Knex pretty soon. For those that don't know me; I've been a member here for several years, and tended to build mostly recreations while I was active. However, school got busy and I no longer had the time to build like I used to, and slowly lost interest.

My pieces have been sitting in my closet for over a year now, and I figure it's time I do something with them.

What seems to have the most demand around here, though? Would more people be interested in buying complete Screamin' Serpent sets, or buying pieces in bulk by type?

I also have an incredible set of cars that I'll be selling. Highly recommended. Check my Piraten recreation to see how well they run.

Oh no! I always hate it when a legend is thinking about selling their K'NEX. Save them, half the members that sell there K'NEX end up coming back to buy more cause they want to build. Or save them for your kids.

I've always loved your models, wanted to say hello when you were online some time, and the first time your online in forever, you want to sell your K'nex... Maybe build one more model, but don't sell the parts just yet until you are completely sure you won't build anymore.
I remember I collected a bunch of Lego's, sold them for money, then wanted to build with them for quite a while after and was disappointed I sold them.
So build another model, see what that does for you, then make a decision.

If you do decide to sell them, I'd definitely say bulk by part type. I'd love some of the carts with both front and back couplers.

Like everyone said, be sure you won't regret it. You're an awesome builder.

If you decide to sell them anyways, I'd like to buy some x-ties (the black and some green), the purple/gray half moon connectors and the blue full-moon connectors as I'm short on those. Maybe some of the purple flexies if you have some.

Well after getting out all of my pieces and starting to organize them, I realized you all might be right. So I think I'll hold on to my pieces for a little while longer until I'm sure I want to sell them. It might be nice to have them sometime in the future if I ever feel like building something.

However, there are a few things that I would like to sell if anyone is interested.

Those items are,

1 Grey Knex Electric Motor Pack (All pieces included)
2 RR Boosters (Uncut, never used)
111 Cross Ties (RR)
71 Flexi rods (RR)

Im sorry to add on A bit late, but about a year and a half ago, i also stopped building and i also considered selling my knex. It was mostly out of an obsession with mw2, as well as doing more with friends. Now the xbox sucks and i was bored and i was like "hey ill make a model"; i started building. Now im working on a model.

What im saying is, I know how you feel right about now, and it's not worth it to sell it. Won't you want to tell your kids about your hobby and give them something to try? It could be a good father-son moment. Also, like others said, you might come back to it. Also, look at forgottogrowup. He still builds models which i think is super cool. Just dont sell what you're not 100% sure about.
