Evcom Park

"Welcome! Evcom Park is the Research Triangle's premier model Amusement Park. Evcom Focuses on use of landscape and scenery to produce a beautiful park, much like some of the Older Parks out there. We put every detail into making your stay at the park perfect."

Evcom Park is my HO Scale park in-the-works. Above is the official website for it. The website is more or less complete so check it out. I will be adding my own pics instead of factory pics once the park is up. Opening day is planned to be October 1st of this year. So far I need about $360 worth of stuff to be able to set it up and get it running. As of right now I am using products from Faller, CoasterDynamix, Busch, and some custom built buildings. Hopefully this will turn out as good as my intentions are. I've already put about $400 into it so I'm not giving it up. Comments are greatly appreciated. I will keep you guys updated regularly.

I love the park website! I love how you set it up as a real park site! How you have all the events planed out. One question, is this going to be on like a base board or somthing? If so, how big will it be(like 5 by 5 feet or somthing)

^Yes! Trust me it won't just be placed on the floor like some. It will be on a board standing on legs and it will have grass, trees, pathways, a pond, etc. Right now I think it will be around 5x5 but I'm going to cut it to exact measurements. I'm also going to be able to add more board so I can expand later on. And thanks for liking the site. I thought it was a pretty cool concept to do it like a real park. It gives it a better feel IMO.

My point is that we requirement everyone to show photos. Not to mention people are lazy and like to see things right in front of them. To answer your question, no. Just trying to help you out.

Shoping and Dining should be Shopping and Dining....souviners shoule be souvenirs (I think) and merchintile should be merchantile. May be more, I'd have to check the whole site....

Well as I know you are in to this park building, I came across this site and this guy builds the models and also shows how to make layout boards, modify circutry, and add in things like lights and water features so I figured I would share with you, he also has links to sellers and some great tips and ideas, it also tells about many models, besides Faller and Coaster Dynamix, so enjoy and good luck with the park!

So umm yea. I've got into another hobby that took all my money for the lanscape and electrical stuff. This might not be done by October first but I hope to finish it by the end of the year.
