It took a while to make but it is finally here! The video which should give an epic overview of all the models built by the members of SSC in 2011!

Great video! Why's the quality so low?

The problem with the quality is that not every member owns the same camera. Buffing a video up to 1080p with content which is only SD quality doesn't make it a whole lot better. 720p or 480p is recommended when working with such files.


The song is by 30seconds to Mars with a drum cover mixed through to emphasize the drums. Here is the cover that Stig used:


The staff spent quite some time selecting the models used in the video, Stig made a nice schematic of what to use where in the video.

The final rendering was done by me, yet I only take credit for the last 10 seconds of the video

Max, whitout the last 10 seconds this video would give you an different feeling in my opinion. While I was watching the video I was like WOW, and in the end I tought stuff , I got insperation, and I knew that it was an good desicion to join this site.

Any way its great to see all of these awesome coaster together. Seeing all of these top coasters has really helped my progress and improve as a builder. It gives you something to try and imitate and match. But someone always has to one up what ever was the best model of last year. Just wait and see what the rest of 2012 will be like.

It really strikes me just how much more increcredible the coasters are getting since I joined this site just a few years ago. Looking at all the coasters in this video and all the build ongoing right now just amaze me at how much the bar has been raised. So many GREAT builders!

Stig-- how did you copy the videos off of youtube? Maybe next time it might be easier/better to get them directly from the builders, they might have higher res copies than they upload to youtube. Great job on the video, thanks again.

Firefox addons or other programs, fairly easy. It's too much hassle asking all the members to send their clips in so it's easier to go with downloaded vids. We ask permission ofcourse.
