I don't have a whole lot done, but I wanted to let everyone know that I AM in fact building something. So far I just have the lift supports finished. I made it at a custom angle again, so as to be closer to the angles of real flying coaster lifts. Here are some pictures.

By the way, fastman xc told me that he always wanted to build a flyer, but never got to. He suggested that I build one, so I am.

I'm also looking for names, so any suggestions are welcome. Something with a 'flight' theme maybe.

That looks so sick, and I can see you've taken a bit of influence from Afterburner seeing those diagonals holding up the lift. It looks awesome, and I think your flyer will look awesome with your shaping, but I would suggest to do the whole Tatsu first element with the turning drop into the zero-g roll so it would look super sick.

I'm hoping to see a pretty unique, exciting layout. I think we're i for a treat.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I already have a plan for the layout, and it's pretty unique, so I hope you all will like it.

Does anyone have an idea as to why my pictures are so small? I uploaded them to the gallery as usual, and my camera is on all the same settings.

Aww yeah, this is going to be awesome to watch . Of course I expect at least a pretzel loop .

I have no idea why your pictures are smaller than normal.

Thank you SO much! It never even went through my mind what the 'medium' might mean.

    Thanks for the comments!

Not a huge update, but the lift is complete. The track is all on, and the motors and chain are running. I also added two braces at the top of the lift to stop any twisting of the crest on the supports.

    Overview

    Track

    Motors

    Bottom gear

    Crest

    Top gear

    Brace (one of two)

Next I need to build some cars, and hopefully not too heavy ones.

By the way, the lift is not in its final position, it will be over in the far corner.

It looks so crisp and so clean.
Make sure to place some type of spacer to keep those braces from moving so they can fully do their job. I am looking forward to watching this unfold.

Will do. They don't move much at all, but just in case.

    Thanks to everyone else!
