    Re: Flying Coaster

About time for an update! I have the drop finished for the most part, but it is NOT fully supported or smoothed out yet. There are still some bumps and banking issues to work out. I'm simply aiming to see if the overall shape is good.

The coaster is, by the way, in its final position now.

    Comment/critique!

I think it needs a little more banking throughout most of the drop. But it looks great! And familiar...

I agree about the banking, it looks great, but you should add some more. I found a reference picture for you:

Please fix it, and it'll look good!

Yeah, seeing some pictures of other flyers, the banking definitely needs worked on. Thanks!

Sorry about that, I just realized how long they took to load.

    Thank you!

Okay, the agenda: fix the banking and add supports on the drop (which I may or may not have a separate update for,) and build the next element.

The next element is finished. I don't know what it's called, or if it has been created before, but it's like a stengel dive or an overbank, but beginning under the track and finishing above. The drop itself is now fully supported and fixed up too. I got around to making some custom flying cars as well. I apologize about the pictures being different sizes, some were uploaded to the gallery and the ones that wouldn't upload were put on Photobucket.

    That just looks incredibly sexy.

The whole flow of that element is just awesome, but that's what I expect from you. Keep building this monster man.

Awesome! I really love the newly developed element and the cars you've used!
I thought this was dead with the long time that this thread hasn't been updated, and I'm glad it isn't!

    Re: Flying Coaster

Beautiful trackwork, as usual! The fact that you used a new element instead of imitating real B&M flyers is a huge plus to me.

    Re: Flying Coaster

AAAAAAMAZING!! That looks so cool! It's good to see this style of flying coasters. especially considering it seems inspired by B&M. Great job once again!

I don't think I've ever seen a fly-to-lie like that before! (Yes, that element is called a fly-to-lie.) Looks epic!

I really like your building style, and always have. I also like the fly to lie element, what's your layout plan?

    Re: Flying Coaster

Wow what a great new element, I think you should turn the train back around to the left or right, then a pretzel loop!

    Re: Flying Coaster

Looks like this coaster will be a lot like Tatsu. I hope you'll add a pretzel loop and Zero G roll/Cork to the ride, combined with the twistiness.

    Re: Flying Coaster

Thanks for all the comments! I was planning on building another element to the right, and then a pretzel loop, like IOAgeek suggested.
