You used the water color blue for the glass so maybe that's why it's just black where the water is.

I have had something similar happen to me in the olden days of 2011, but it was much more random. It happened whenever I went near the park exit. I think this was when all of those Error Trappers turned my parks into cursed parks. (A term I made for when a save file for a park gets an Error Trapper right after loading it. To fit the definition, the park must get an Error Trapper every single time it's opened.) Hopefully you won't end up with the Error Trappers like I was, for there is no escape...

If you still have those saves, you can try opening them with OpenRCT2. Some things that cause error trappers in vanilla will not cause a problem in OpenRCT2. If it does still segfault, OpenRCT2 makes it easier to identify and remove the source of the error.
