Description This is my latest (and so far best) attempt at custom VV B&M Wingrider cars. Each wheelbase holds 2 rows of seats. The set of red/purple and green connectors at the center of each row is a system of making custom cars that I came up with; they're evenly spaced if you use 2 micro blue spaces between each car, and they're capable of holding a chain dog in place, eliminating the need for an unaltered wheelbase front half that a lot of other custom cars have. At some point soon I'm going to try to make a tutorial for these, including several other car types using the same system.

They look great! Do you plan to build a coaster for them, or are you just messing with custom cars?

Looks epic! So eh, how much more speed loss is there?

I'm just messing with custom cars right now. I'd love to make a full coaster out of these, but I don't have nearly enough orange connectors or y-clips; a full train of 8 rows would use 80 orange connectors and 48 y-clips.

I'm using 2 pretty old wheelbases here, so their performance wasn't great to begin with. That said, the trains are much heavier than unmodified cars, and rudimentary testing seems to show good results. I imagine a full train of 8 rows (4 wheelbases), when lubed, would run quite nicely, but I can't say for sure. Any ful-scale layout made with these would probably have to be quite sturdy to handle the extra weight.

Really nice looking cars! Good luck though if you do try to make a wingrider... I remember Cobra Roller making a wingrider and he only had the speed for like half the height of the lift hill for his first element, and these seem to be even heavier cars than the ones he had used.

Seems like the track will need some incredible support. I would imagine it deflects a lot with these trains.

Nice, looking good :)
You could lose some weight by removing the orange connectors, unless you're satisfied with the result already ^^
