Yes. Make sure that your drill is strong enough (of course). Try to avoid gearing it up or down if you don't have to, and you can superglue the brown clips that hold the gears to the rod so they don't come off. It's also important to make sure that your chain doesn't bounce around; that can make it go slower, or even break.
You mean my rubber band launch? No. I don't like to use rubber band launches anymore, now that I have a drill to use. Drill launches are so much better.

I use a DigiTech RP80. They went out of production a few years ago, but they're very nice. 40 custom presets and 40 factory presets. It only cost me 80$ too.
