  1. Iron Gwazi Recreation

A recreation of Iron Gwazi from Busch Gardens Tampa took around six months to complete and used over 30,000 pieces. Was the most difficult and fun coaster I have ever built. Thanks to CoasterGeek987 for his pieces and help to complete the model.

  4. X2 - Six Flags Magic Mountain Recreation

It's taken nearly 2.5 years of work to get to this point. The final video for my K'nex X2 recreation is out! With work on this coaster itself completed last week, this final video is the grand finale of this project which was started in November 2018. X2, or as it was known much earlier in its life, X, was the coaster that got me into being such a huge coaster nerd. An early 2000s documentary featured this behemoth of a coaster and got me super intrigued into the world of coasters. That was the source of inspiration for this project. I did not get to experience X2 until May of 2019 despite starting the project in 2018. My rides on X2 made it not only my favorite coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but my #1 coaster overall. That experience gave me the much needed motivation to finish this project. This recreation stands just slighly over 6' tall and has nearly 100' of track. It features one 7 car train with custom rotating gondolas. While i could not recreate the controlled spin caused by the 4th rail on existing 4th dimension coasters, the free spinning nature of these gondolas still get the job done. Despite the large and heavy trains, there have been no major speed issues throughout this entire project. Speed loss was considerably less than expected, so no boosters or scaled down elements were required.

I have been building large scale custom K'nex roller coasters since early 2012. My K'nex X2 recreation is the largest project i have ever completed. To say it used up most of my pieces is a *huge* understatement. In fact, the only pieces I have left are either broken connectors or a few assorted rods. I would estimate the total value of pieces used in this project is around $1000 to $2000. Though, I don't have a way to know for sure since not all pieces were acquired by complete sets.

  6. Vipère

Vipère is the "new" coaster opening at my home park, La Ronde, in 2020. It actually is the relocated Green Lantern First Flight from Six Flags Magic Mountain. I hope my K’nex version will get better reviews than the actual coaster!..

  12. Batman: The Ride

This K'nex roller coaster is a recreation of the first 4D free spinning roller coaster called "Batman: The Ride." It is located in Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. This model is 29 in. (73.99 cm) tall, 63 in. (160.02 cm) long, and 12.5 in. (31.75 cm) wide. The car flips about six times throughout the layout. It uses realistic tubular supports which are arranged just like the real ride. Many challenges arose while building Batman, such as not having enough speed, supports which were too weak, and many others. It took roughly 20 hours from March 31st, 2015 to April 17th, 2015 to make Batman and an uncounted amount of additional hours to adjust and fine tune the model. The finished project uses almost 1,500 pieces! This was a ton of fun to build and i got a lot of positive feedback at the showcasing of Batman. Thanks to all the support I got here on SSC and YouTube couldn't have done it without you all :')

  13. Pegasus

A recreation of the classic wooden coaster that resided in the Efteling, located in my hometown. While small in height, Pegasus is still large in length. Its reliability is superb, making it a great exposition model.

This is a recreation of Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom. It is about 56 feet long, and was tons of fun to make. I made the station out of cardboard because of a paucity of pieces. Made in about a week and a half. Enjoy. :)

  17. Superman The Escape Recreation

Hey guys! This is my first coaster on sscoasters and a recreation of Superman the Escape at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The coaster is 11 feet tall and took about one and a half months to complete. I built it all by myself by using a ladder to make the coaster higher. The hardest part of building this coaster was the station and brakes inside it. I have never ridden this coaster before and I wish I would have got to because when I went to Magic Mountain for the first time in July of 2010 it was closed the week after I went for Superman Escape from Krypton. I hope you guys enjoy the video that I made and the upcoming coasters that will be at sscoasters in the future! My next Knex coaster I'm recreating is... Sheikra! Yay:) that's my hometown coaster and theme park at Busch gardens Tampa. Hope to see a construction update soon. Thanks to ~steelspectrum~ for the brakes inside the station.
