  2. Twisted Colossus

The dueling is regulated by a lego EV3 block at the top of the lift, which ensures that they always drop at the same time. This is a recreation of Twisted Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain, except I extended the layout a bit.

  3. Wanderer

After a short building break, I am bringing you my 20th knex coaster : Wanderer. It’s a wooden coaster with pretty basic elements as airtime hills. It’s inspired by different wooden coaster manufacturers as GCI, CCI and a touch of Intamin. Hope you enjoy!

  4. Inchworm

My first custom, and my first on SSC. I built it as a test for the improved "low friction trains" I built while building the Loop model.
Inchworm boasts a unique compact banked drop, as well as minimal loss of speed after the first hill. There's a huge loss of speed after the banked drop, but not even a granite is lost after completing all 3 bunny hills.

  7. Thunder

Built in the late summer, Thunder was meant to be a recreation of the legendary Cyclone at Crystal Beach, said to be one of the most terrifying rides ever built. The recreation was cut a little short with the removal of the fast, sharp turns underneath the station, however the rest of the ride was a similar as I could make it.

  9. Awakening

Awakening is a blue rod woodie project that I built over a period of 4 months. Most of that time was inactivity but it was still interesting to see how it could be built to fit into a small space. It utilizes the hand-chair that I've had in my room for years but never really thought of as scenery.

  10. Blizzard

This is the first wooden style roller coaster I built. It isn't very big, but I did have a lot of fun building it. I decorated it with Christmas lights too, since the holiday is only two weeks away (or close to anyway.)

  11. White Lightning

White Lightning is an unique K'nex wooden style roller coaster, complete with catwalks and railings along the entire ride. I used as many white parts as possible to create that old style white painted look. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and will mostly likely build another roller coaster in this style.

  17. Bull's Eye

I can't seem to find any pictures of the ride. This is my first wooden style ride. It stands 4 feet 3 inches tall. Construction time was about a month, and I used roughly 4-5 Screamin Serpents of track ties, including about all of my 3000-4000 blue rods at the time. This was the top model #3 winner.
