Interpark/Pinfari rides have special supports. This is because most of their rides are actually transportable. They look clean and small but are very strong! (Fact: Interpark bought Pinfari)

Example pictures:

Why go Interpark/Pinfari?

Pros:
- Almost as strong as Tubes
- Looks clean
- Looks very realistic
- Only use standard K'nex pieces
- Easy to build
- Fun to build
- Adjustable to a lot of sizes
- Can be used on a standard double base or on double radii base

Cons:
- Supports need to be closer together than tubes
- Requires a double base (requires quite a few pieces)
- Finding the right length for the diagonals is time consuming
- Don't allow for inversions (you need to use a different support type for those)
- Each support relies on the previous and upcoming support. (They are weak by themselves but strong together.)
- Track Shaping can be difficult
- Strong yet Fragile

To help you get started with Interpark/Pinfari supports here is the most basic of them all.

1. First build 2 rectangles like this:
Posted Image

2. Now add 2 white rods in the opposite corners:
Posted Image

3. Build the correct diagonal:
Posted Image

4. And put it on like so:
Posted Image

5. Put on the other rectangle and slide 4 grey connectors over each grey rod:
Posted Image

6. Clip on the grey connectors like this (TAKE NOTE OF THE DIRECTION TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER!)
Posted Image

7. Continue stacking the diagonal boxes, make sure to get the Interpark/Pinfari look by have all diagonals face the same way! (e.g. Left Bottom to Upper Right)

Here are some examples of other sizes with the correct diagonals:
Posted Image

Tips/Hints:
- Make sure you find a the correct diagonal that doesn't put any strain on the rectangle, or as little as possible.
- Look up pictures from real Interpark/Pinfari rides for inspiration.
- Hinges are very, VERY useful for those supports.
- Make sure to build on a double base, this way the supports are easy to connect.
- Get creative, there are many combinations possible!
- Some clever colour coding can make them look extra cool!

Here are some In-Use examples:

(And a very creative track to support connection:

Yes that is 6 hinges for 1 track to support connection!)

Have fun, any questions you can ask in this thread or PM me on the forums.

Where does everybody find those hinge pieces? I would really like some, what set do they come in?

^ No idea actually, but I have quite a lot of them:)

Well max, these are quite the basics, but I betcha it needs more then this to get this to work, the thing you'll need is called "Creativity";)

I actually already listed the creativity thing in the tips and tricks section. But it's fairly much the same as any type of supports. Don't feel limited by angles, create them!

First there were box supports. Then Gump created tubes, and now almost everyone uses them. I have a feeling that this will become a whole new style of supports as well.

I just came to check the website after a year of so. And I found this. Yay! No more having to fight against having to make everything look like steel supports. I can use this now. I have an obsession to having to make everything I make realistic... I don't know why. This is why I refuse to use boosters. I'm halfway done with my metal tube coaster so I'll finish that and use these supports for my next coaster.

I actually build a small test base first, like 2x1x1 yellow, this way I could make all supports somewhere else and when they were done I could just pop'm on the real thing. This way you could really see the coaster grow.

One thing I would recommend too: Use these supports in combination with a base.
Else they probably wouldn't work really well.
Also, the best way to get good shaping is making 2 supports for an element first, one at te beginning and one at the and.
Then shape the track between it, and THEN make supports.
Thats atleast the way I did it so far.

You are repeating me :P

I already pointed out that each support is relying on previous and next one. Track work can be done anyway you like, I just build the supports first then adjusted them to the track.
