As a long-time member of the site (mostly as a reader), I've enjoyed over 10+ years of following large-scale KNEX coaster projects, tips & tricks, and model innovation.  When I joined the site, I was a middle school student, aspiring to be a roller coaster designer one day.  This site kick-started my passion for the amusement industry and engineering and I'm glad to have been a member for such a long time.  I have to say, I'm impressed that the site has done so well over the past 10 years and there is still a niche community of KNEX roller coaster enthusiasts.

I'm at the point in my life where I don't have the time, space, or interest to build large-scale KNEX coaster models.  The last coaster I built was half of a wooden GCI style layout in 2011.  Since then, all of my KNEX pieces have sat in an attic in large rubbermaids.

I am selling my entire KNEX collection on ebay along with other amusement park and roller coaster collectibles.  I have listed all of the items at low, competitive prices so that they sell quickly.  I wanted to accomplish three things by posting to SScoasters:

  • Let everyone know that I am selling off some good KNEX pieces/ bundles for low prices on ebay.
  • Support the SScoasters community by offering 25% off SHIPPING costs (not merchandised costs).  If purchasing items from my ebay store, send me a message stating "SSCOASTERS25".  You have to do this BEFORE paying for items, otherwise there is not an easy way to refund you the 25%.  Note that this offer also applies to non-KNEX items.  This is my way of thanking members of the community for providing tips & tricks over the years on model building.
  • Provide a link to my ebay store http://stores.ebay.c...ment-Collection

I am selling bundles of parts/ trains.  Here is a list of the kits that I had:

-x4 Screamin' Serpent

-x3 Rippin' Rocket

-x1 Oldschool Roller Coaster

-x2 Vertical Vengeance

-x1 Other Micro Set (green track)

-x1 Other Micro Set (orange track)

-x1 Big Ball Factory

-x3 Misc Other Sets

-x2 Large Custom Orders of KNEX from ebay

-Total of 7 complete 3 car trains

-Additional 5 individual middle cars

I'm located in Wisconsin.  Currently I have everything listed as bags of pieces.  I have another batch of KNEX bins that I'm picking up this weekend and will be selling those as boxes of misc pieces.  Sorting through thousands of KNEX pieces was not a fun way to spend 10+ hours last weekend :)
