This compilation video shows all my builds since I joined SSCoasters in 2010. The video shows all nineteen projects that I have completed in the last five years.

My first project on the forums was an attempt to recreate Expedition GeForce, which is an Intamin Mega Coaster located in Holiday Park (Germany) and one of my favourite rollercoasters of all time. However, due to speed problems and a lack of pieces the lay-out turned into a custom design, still with many similarities with the real coaster. The construction of Expedition H-Force lasted for five months and it was my first K’NEX coaster with tube supports.

Beast of Speed was a launched coaster which was highly inspired by The Incredible Hulk located at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure (Florida, USA). The ride featured a launch powered by a drill and six inversions.

Gale was my third project since I joined SSCoasters and it was built for an exposition in my hometown Putten on Queens Day 2011. The coaster was inspired by many GCI coasters which were very popular around that time. It took one month to build the mechanically automated station gates, which were the eye-catcher of the ride.

Anaesthesia is a B&M Diving Machine which featured a Zero G roll even before B&M started using this element on Dive Machines a couple of years later. The coaster featured a mechanical control system which ensured that there would always be a safe distance between the two trains.

Goliath SFOG was the first successful attempt on recreating a coaster. This recreation of the B&M Mega Coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia (Georgia, USA) was built in collaboration with Maarten Maris, a friend of mine who built K’NEX coasters as well.

Intensity was a large B&M Inverted Coaster inspired by inverted coasters like Silver Bullet at Knotts Berry Farm (California, USA). The ride featured multiple inversions and was supported by box-supports.

Ice Age was built for the 2012 Winter Contest on SSCoasters. The ride featured an inclined cable launch and the lay-out was highly inspired by Takabisha located in Japan. Other members highly appreciated the design, as it ranked first place in the contest.

Monster was a B&M Stand-Up coaster which was inspired by real B&M Stand-Up coasters such as Mantis located at Cedar Point (Ohio, USA). The coaster was built in collaboration with Maarten Maris who implemented automatic station gates using an Arduino. The ride was shown on an exposition in Putten in 2012 to raise money for charity.

Another coaster that was built specifically for an exposition is X-Cite. The design of this coaster was highly inspired by multiple Gerstlauer Eurofighters. The coaster was shown at an exposition in Etten-Leur for one week in the summer of 2012.

Stalen was one of the larger coasters I have built and it was inspired by Intamin Mega Coasters such as Millennium Force and Skyrush. The supports were highly inspired by the supporting-style on Bizarro located at Six Flags New England (Massachusetts, USA).

In 2012 I stayed approximately ten days with Elijah Pedriani and his family in the USA. We visited Hershey Park (Pennsylvania, USA) and Lightning Racer was one of my favourite rides at the park. A couple of months after my visit to the USA I decided to recreate Lightning Racer. Although it was a very tough coaster to complete the recreation worked out very well and won the Top Model Award and March Model Madness Award on SSCoasters.

Timbuktu was highly inspired by Cheetah Hunt located at Busch Gardens Tampa (Florida, USA), as well as other Intamin rides like Maverick and Storm Runner. It was the first major multi-launched K’NEX coaster since it featured a cable launch and a tire drive launch.

Prior to the introduction of K’NEX rollercoasters I used to build many flat rides, but at the time I had not completed a flat ride for years. Stuka was inspired by Intamin Drop Towers and it was my first flat ride for a long time. The ride won the SummerHeat contest in 2013.

Tatsu was a coaster that I had wanted to recreate for a very long time. The construction started in the Summer of 2013 and in total the construction lasted for six months. Due to a lack of space, speed and pieces it was by far my toughest project ever. Fortunately the recreation worked out in the end and the ride was awarded with the Top Model Award and March Model Madness Award on SSCoasters.

After the completion of Tatsu I wanted to build a number of smaller rides, which lead to the idea to build an entire amusement park. Helmerpark featured an Intamin Mega-Lite, Classic Wooden Coaster, Ferris Wheel, S&S El Loco Coaster, Schwarzkopf Coaster and a Star Flyer.

During the Summer of 2014 me and Elijah Pedriani did a three-week road trip along the East Coast of the United States, visiting many amusement parks such as Cedar Point, Six Flags Great Adventure, Canada’s Wonderland and many other parks. In the other two weeks we worked on a recreation of Knight Valley Wood Coaster, which is a massive GCI Wooden Coaster located in China known for utilizing its terrain. The terrain made the recreation much tougher than we initially expected, but in the end we were very satisfied with the result.

During my visit to Canada’s Wonderland in 2014 I rode Leviathan, which is a 306 feet tall B&M Giga Coaster which inspired by to build Titan. Besides Leviathan the lay-out of Titan was also inspired by another B&M Giga Coaster which was under construction at that time, namely Fury 325 located at Carowinds (South-Carolina, USA). With a height of seven feet Titan was by far the tallest coaster I have ever built.

My most recent coaster is a recreation of Fahrenheit, which is an Intamin Vertical Lift Coaster that I wanted to recreate since my visit to Hershey Park in 2012. Personally I regard this as my best K’NEX coaster so far and I really enjoyed recreating one of my favourite rollercoasters.

Special thanks go to all of you who have helped and encouraged me in building K’NEX rides over the last years.  :)

If ever we need a reminder of why you're one of the greatest builders of K'nex coasters, this is it. There's not a bad coaster in that bunch. Not even close. If I were to do something like that, the first 10 or so would be fairly misshapen rod fests but everything you've done is strangely perfect from the start.

Edit: Haha. Just missed out on making this your 3000th post. That would've been quite nice but oh well.
