I'm back! Don't worry, I haven't canceled this or anything, I've just been pretty lazy. I did finish the next element, which is a corkscrew. The reason why it's taken so long is because I actually ordered train connectors (thanks Spaghetti) and they didn't come for a while. Just a few days ago I got them and I started messing around with the trains because they weren't making it through the corkscrew before. I tested out the orange car which I got about a month ago and it's super fast! It sped through the whole thing, so I added on two red cars to the back and it makes it through. Also it's pretty big, so I should be able to make a helix after the corkscrew. This does mean that I can't have two different cars going on the track, but I think that should be fine. Unfortunately I couldn't get any photos, and I am on a road trip right now, but I will try to get them up on friday or saturday. Also I want to enter the summer heat contest, so I will try to get this ride done by mid july.

I think the general shaping is pretty good but if you can beef up that spine a little then I think it would just tidy everything up. Also, I didn't notice before but you might want to perhaps add another support to that drop if you can. There's a large part that's fairly unsupported. Looking very good though.
I was going to add that, but I'm not sure if I have enough pieces. Still, the drop doesn't shake all that much so I don't think I need to add it.
This is so cool! I think I said this recently, but I keep forgetting how awesome micro coasters can be when there is an experienced builder behind them. This is because I only remember the micro coasters that I have made in the past. XD Anyways, excelent job!
I wouldn't say that I'm a very experienced builder, but I do think that some of it comes from the flexi spine. It's super easy to shape the track and it's easy to connect to the supports too!
That looks great! It truly looks like a B&M style.
Thanks!
So I was going to respond to the other 3 comments, but when I did that it deleted my post (since it's on the next page), so I can't respond. But thanks for the comments!

I like the corkscrew a lot. Does the flexi rods as the spine keep the track pretty strong or is it a little bendy which could make the train loss more speed. Do you not have enough of the orange rods for the whole layout cause I think you should also add another catwalk to the left side of the lift, which every B&M looper has the two sided catwalks on the lift hill!

I think you're doing great now. It's a shame of how much speed loss is there with only three elements. The corkscrews looks fantastic and I like the heart line picture!!
If I had started fixing my speed loss issue earlier I probably could have added more elements, but at the moment the car zips around the track and I actually really like that.
That corkscrew looks just about perfect. Reminds me of an arrow corkscrew rather than a B&M one .
I was thinking that too, Arrow loops seem to be a little bit more circular than the B&M ones.

It keeps the track in the same place, although it isn't super strong. The corkscrew doesn't really shake all that much though. Also I was going to add a second catwalk, but the problem is more that I'm out of purple connectors. Otherwise I would have added another catwalk.
Final update! Sort of.... On Friday I actually finished the entire layout, and I was going to post another update, but then I got a little carried away and I started doing all of the theming. Now the entire ride is done, but I don't really want to spoil the theming yet. It isn't super complicated, but it definitely adds to the ride a lot. I also made my first true brake run (it doesn't actually have brakes, but it has a transfer track and looks like a brake run) and station. Another thing I did was put silicone spray one the wheels. Now the cars speed through the entire track and make a really cool sound.
I haven't finished filming the final video yet, but I would expect it to be done at least by Wednesday. I might make a full gallery for photos this time too. Also, I want to make the music roadrunner theme https://www.youtube....h?v=sQGrwsar8H4 but I'm not sure if it will block my video. In the past (when using monstercat songs) I would credit the artist and turn off adds, which would work fine. But I'm wondering if music like this would be more risky to put on a youtube video. In the worst case scenario all that would happen would be that I would put the video up for download, and then post another version with different music. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with this.
Time to get back to work recording!

Oh man, this is wonderful! You did just as I thought you would with the video - wonderfully! I think not only are you a fantastic builder, but you have a lot of skill when it comes to filming and editing as well. I don't think this could have been executed any better. Another fantastic job, sir!
Thank you so much! I always try to spend a lot of time on my final videos because it's the main way you show your creation off to people who can't see it in real life. I'm glad you liked it!

Great job on this! Even though you used the flexi-rod spine, the shaping still looks really realistic. I also love just how compact and twisty this is, plus it's always nice to see builders going the extra mile by adding a welcome bit of theming and a station.
Well done!
