I had this splendid idea of making a post about sharing my strangest beliefs. I thought, "Hey, this might make a good thread, where everyone can share the strangest beliefs they've had when they were younger. I'm sure it'll stir up some good laughs. ... Here's a few beliefs that I've had before when I was younger.
1) In 2nd grade, I didn't believe that multiplication existed. I remember one time when there was one of the bigger kids on the bus that said "five times two is ten" and I was like "NUH UH! It's seven!".
2) In 2nd grade, I thought our skin was made of scales like on a lizard and that we were cold blooded. What if I was right, and the reptilian humanoids are taking over O_O.
3) For years, I always thought that TTS connections had to always be a green rod. The small ones. In fact, I don't think it was until the summer of 6th grade that I figured out how ridiculous I was being.
4) My sister once had a Fantasy Encyclopedia filled with information on goblins, witches, faeries, dragons, etc., and there was this one page of it that always gave me the creeps. It was a picture of this dog with a rotting face with large fangs and big, yellow eyes that seemed to stare at me. Even when I got older, it was still super freakin' creepy. I always thought it was going to jump out of the book and attack me.
5) When I was afraid of the dark, I always liked to think that the monsters and I had a deal: as long as I had some music playing in my mind, then they weren't allowed to get me.
That's all I have for now. Feel free to leave a post!
