So, I know I just started that launched invert, but I felt like entering this contest first. Don't worry, I do plan to come back to that as soon as this one is done because I cannot tell you how excited I am to work on that one again. Anyways, I wanted to make a coaster similar to Jester in Six Flags New Orleans, but when I started the drop, it started to turn into more of a B&M floorless/standup. So, now it's going to be a B&M Standup (hopefully). I have the station, prelift, lift, and drop pretty much completed. I need to fix some parts of the loop, and I don't plan on keeping anything after that. Right now, I don't have any pictures, but I should have a few tomorrow. In the meantime, here is a test video:

I always love to hear any feedback anyone has!

I absolutely love that layout! It seems like it'll be just the right length too. I think you might want to strengthen up that loop though  ;)

Aww it's just like Vortex, those first 2 B&M stand up coasters! It could use some more supports to prevent shaking on the loop and turn though. That should save you a good amount of speed for whatever you come up with for the end of the layout (interlocking corks??).

^ He cant do interlocking corkscrews if he wants to stay withing the rules of the winter contest.

Fix the shaking and your good to go!

A few more diagonals in the supports required but otherwise good work underway. Good luck in the contest.

Well, thanks! Yeah, don't worry about it, all of those supports were just temporary - they're nice and strong now (thumbsup)

Yeah, I thought it was going to be kind of like the Jester in Six Flags New Orleans, but I am very happy with the way it is turning out. And don't worry about those wimpy supports, I fixed them I just wanted to make sure that that was the layout I wanted. I might have done some kind of interlocking corkscrews or something cool like that except that the winter contest only allows loops.

Yeah, I still have a little shaking on the loop I need to fix, and I need to shorten the last hill I added (you'll see what I'm talking about in a minute), but everything else is pretty solid for a tubes coaster (that I made XD)

Yeah, I fixed the loop supports, but I might need to change them a little, other than that, everything is pretty good.

So, I was able to get the supports to steady the loop a little more, but I personally feel like they look a little too long and they go a little high up the loop. I know I sound like a broken record, but other than that everything is relatively solid. Because I don't really have anything else to say, here are some pictures

That looks extremely smooth and the supports look good. What element do you plan on building next?

How do you build a coaster?

Looks nice especially around the helices after the loop. Shame it doesn't make that last turn tho :/

You need to make your track more rigid. All of the shaking and deflection is lost kinetic energy. You have two options:

1. Stiffer track

2. More track to support connections.

Layering flexi rods is a great way to achieve rigidity. Ideally, you also have all of the forces acting on your supports going straight down the center axis putting the supports in pure tension or pure compression. Side loading = bending forces = bad design, so you want to reduce side loading as much as possible. With taller support this is prevented by adding braces to make a triangle, as you've done in a few places.

But, in the valleys it can help to angle your supports to better transmit loading to the ground. See Mantis's loop as an example:

Are your trains lubed or weighted at all? It seems like your losing a lot of speed.
