Im making a thread for this because even though they are finished I don't want them to be easily overlooked.
I'll start with the 11.5 foot Morey's Piers Vekoma ferris wheel because its more interesting. This was built between July 3rd and 10th and only took about 45 hours thanks to the help from my brother.
real thing
and the first collapse, this happened while I was on vacation in Florida due to a violent storm. It could have been prevented if we took the wheel off but oh well, and it was only around 10 days after it was finished
we rebuilt it which only took 4-5 hours
That was the second and final collapse from another storm.
and now the big question. Why is it wind powered, lol? I was going to use tires on the supports and tried for a few hours until it seemed hopeless. I may have been able to power it through the middle if I had planned it from the beginning but that wasn't the case.
and the Coney Island / World's Fair Parachute Jump. 10'1" tall and was built in April 2016
There aren't any parachutes because I left that up to my brother and it never got done. but the real thing has been dormant for years so...
