Everyone it's good to be back! This time I am going to be recreating ThunderBird at Holiday World under a different name. I'm excited to try a new coaster out in such a long time and happy to be back on the forum. Excuse my room.

That's it for now. If the weather coperats I will possibly take it outside later this week. Decided to stick wit a ThunderBird Layout.

Shaping looks pretty good, but I think you need a little more support on the first element

Btw what launch method are u using?

The shaping looks good overall, but Thunderbird's immelman exits at more of a 45 degree angle to the launch, whereas yours exits perpendicular to the launch. Other than that, it looks good, and I'm excited to see how you pull off Thunderbird's later elements. Good luck! :)

You should layer your flexis so that they dont end in the same spots, and then don't use ladders and just put the flexis end to end so you can spread out your cross ties more evenly. This will make the track more smooth and look better. If you're trying to recreate Thunderbird, I think the pullout of the immelmann needs to go out more towards the left, and it doesn't quite turn 90 degrees, maybe about 80 or so.

Edit: I found a pretty nice picture of the immelmann from a similar angle on RCDB.

I agree with the others. The shaping isn't great now, but if you layer the flexis and don't use ladders that should smooth the track out. And changing the angle of the immelmann's exit should help too. I also think the entry into the immelmann is a little steep.

Good luck with this one, it's a nice layout to work with.

Not an update but just to let you guys know I visited Holiday World on 7/2/17. And I took picks of the ride i'm focusing and you guys were correct the exit of the immelmann is 45* and in my opinion the the top of the inversion were it starts to rurn upside down looks tight as well.

Sorry for the long wait i replaced the box supports with tubes. I will be keeping my launch as it is right now. I'm thinking of doing a classic rubberband launch. Any other suggetions are welcom for the launch.
