This is very well built. Fantastic shaping and a nice flow to it. The roll also seems to be working smoother now.
Only thing is I would add some cross bracing between the supports in the valley between the half loop and pretzel loop - doesn't have the be anything extravagant, just one rod thick will do the job (just to help minimise shaking).

Looks really good, just add the support on the track of the pretzel roll instead of that temporary one that you have.

It looks really nice! Just need to add real supports like you said, and you could make a pretty long layout with all the speed you have.

I honestly don't have any criticisms, just finish supporting the pretzel loop and keep going!

Thanks for the comments guys.

Nearly finished the layout now. And have almost finished the 4th and final inversion for my summer heat coaster. I've also made a station and have been trying out different chain guides for the lift hill but I'm not sure they'll work yet as they're causing a lot of friction.

Anyone have any good chain dog solutions for middle cars?

I'm trying to have the chain end as far down the crest of the lift hill as possible to help minimise the sagging of the chain, in case I can't get a chain guide to work. But the chain dogs I've tried all hit the track and slow the train down.

Waiting on a few more pieces to come before I can finished the coaster though. I'm hoping I can add a little helix just before the brakes but while speed might not be an issue I'm not sure I will have enough pieces to make one. It might have an understated ending.

I like the barrel roll, the heartling is pretty good imo. It would be cool if you added a catwalk like helmur did on Tastu, and that could help with the sagging chain a little. For the chain dog, I used three black clips, a small granite rod, and 4 blue spacers. The black clips go into the bottom holes of the SS car with a small granite rod connecting across the black clips. I then put another black clip in the opposite direction facing the chain in the middle of the small granite rod, with 2 blue spacers on opposite sides of the middle black clip on the small granite rod. Im sure there are some pics of it on here, you'll have to find that, if cant understand what I am saying, but it is pretty easy to build tbh. I used it for my superman ultimate flight recre a few years ago. In the fourth picture, those two supports before the start of the barrel roll are really close to each other, so I would move the right support back a little, to make it look better as well. Do a chain guide on the top of the lift too, to clean up the chain up there and it looks really nice imo.

I love this so much... the layout seems just the right length and the shaping looks very nice. I do think you should add some catwalks to the lift but I'm guessing you haven't finished that yet. Also is there a test video for this final part?

Thanks.   I've added the catwalks and that chain dog's worked well :)

I've kept those supports like that as that's where the track will be split so I can move it outside. I put them close so together so it didn't lose its shape.

No test video for this part, but there is one for the pretzel loop. The next one will be of the complete circuit.

Still waiting for a few pieces to finish the coaster. So I've just added a few details like catwalks, theming etc.

You never cease to amaze me with the amazing attention to detail in your coasters, even on this large of a scale. I'm really excited to see the final video!

Very nice so far! As for the back chain dog, the best thing would be to 3D print a front to middle car adaptor - that's what CW5X and I use (works really well).

I'm without the luxury of a 3D printer :/ but I've got one that's working okay.

Maybe I'll have access to one in the future, do you have files for the chain dog adaptor and adaptors for converting front/back cars into middle cars (I've broken a few of mine of the years) that you could send me?

Completed the circuit, not quite the ending I'd wanted but I ran out of pieces and wasn't going to get anymore this time. It's not a bad ending just not as good as it good have been, as it carries a little bit too much speed into the final turn.

I've added some friction brakes which work pretty well and all the chains are working now. The lift hill is a bit jerky with the motor but I'm going to see if a drill on slow speed fixes that.

All that's left now is to break it up into chunks and wait for a couple of nice days to set it up outside.

I should have the files on my pen-drive, but need to check. I'm happy to send them over at some point if you want, just PM me with your email and I'll send it as an attachment. If I remember correctly you can open the file on windows 10 (kind of like moviemaker, it has a special programme for 3D models) and so as long as you have access to a printer it should be compatible. If you can't get access to one though,t I could maybe see if I can get into school one day and print a couple and I'll send them to you :)

Really great coaster! I love the unique elements and layout compared to that of other flying coasters, and the shaping is great as usual for your coasters. The logo is nice too, since we don't often see quality logos very often like that for coasters.

I would say add a small brake after the last inversion on that straight area before that right turn into the brake run so it looks better and is more realistic imo. Other than that it looks really good!

Hate to be that guy, but come on no comments on a final video :/

Anyway I've added the coaster to the database so give it a rating for Summer Heat. Thanks :)

I'm surprised you could get such a long layout, and still have plenty of speed at the end! Definitely one of my favorites from you, and alongside Helmut's Tatsu as one of the best flyers on this site. Looking forward to your next coaster!

Fantastic job here man, especially the first element.  Kind of wish it could have been a bit longer, but it was still quite well made.
