I was browsing GWR and came across this.

Was wondering if any of you out there would consider applying.

This seems the best place to ask as I am pretty sure some of out there would happily set the record!

:D  Yes, this is official!  :D

I wonder how long it's been since they have started accepting this... It's pretty late since most builders now probably don't care about this record and want to build other things. Also I think someone applied for largest ferris wheel and when they finally responded and wanted to see evidence, it was so long they already gave up on them and tore it down..

Sad that I no longer have 69 internets

Yeah, fair enough. Wait... so the number of people building K'Nex coaster has decreased over the years or are you saying something else?

I just thought it would be cool if someone actually tried breaking it (well setting the record anyway).

Do you think anyone will in fact set the record? I know there are people who still make 8 ft+ coasters so, maybe that could be record-breaking?

Interesting...

8ft isn't close to record breaking. To my knowledge this is still the record holder (at around 40ft IIRC), though that was a decade ago so it might have been broken since.

Yea I know that. I was just saying setting a record for GWR. At least then it would be official.

I suppose someone should make one higher than, that then it will be definitely the tallest.

This was me. It was my 12ft diameter loop.

Also, it technically doesn't really need to be the worlds tallest K'nex roller coaster. It just needs to be the worlds tallest recorded K'nex coaster that's been submitted to the record book.

1- Time Traveler 2- Magnum XL-200 3- The Voyage 4- Velocicoaster 5-Iron Gwazi 6- Phantom's Revenge 7- The Beast 8- The Legend 9- Tiested Timbers 10- Steel Vengeance

Apparently someone already has. I started the application and it says the current record is roughly 35 feet.

4 Windseekers and counting...
