Jack didn't you mention something about dying knex pieces without effecting the shape? I know wrong thread but I figure what the hell...

Ummmm, I don't remember saying that. It may be possible, but I have never tried it. We have dyed some of our trains from blue to black and it worked. I don't know what type of plastic Knex uses. Typically when you dye a part, you can go darker, but not lighter.

I ask because one of the members was considering changing the color of the knex track, and I remembered someone mentioning using dye to change the color of plastics. I thought it was you...

Someone mentioned it on the CD forums but when I searched I could not find it. They talked about dying the rails.
