Protoype I

This was the first prototype I built. It lacks upstops and utilizes wheel housings made from bent aluminium strips. The depressions to accomodate the wheels were made with a center punch. Neither approach is particularly accurate, and this car exhibited quite poor performance, exacerbated by its very light weight. In this image the car has been modified from it's original configuration with the addition of some aluminium strips for extra weight.
