School From Hell

school. Many odd things have been happening.
Over the summer, the old
principal at my school retired and we got this enw principal who everyone hates.
One month ago, one of the sciences teachers at my school was arrested for the
possession of pot. Ironically, he majored in horiculture! This whole incident
made the local newspaper. He probably will be let back in to teach since it is that big
of a deal. However, with the new principal, who knows!
Yesterday,
Channel 4 and Fox news were at the school to interveiw kids at the end of the day
because a substitute teacher was just fired for sexual misconduct with a student!
The sub was a student teacher for my english class freshman year and he seemed
lika real cool guy. It is really weird that he was arrested. The latest rumors say that
he video taped himself with another student and they have AIM conversations.
Gross!
Today, everyone was talking about that sub and in the middle of 4th
hour, the fire alarm went off. It wasn't planned so we knew it must be real.
We all go outside and wait. And wait. Fire trucks begin arriving. We missed all of
4th hour and part of 5th just standing outside. Fox news and Channel 4 helicopters
were circling the school. It turns out that someone lit a trashcan on fire in one of the
boys bathrooms. I also heard that a nearby school had a gas pipe bust and another
school nearby received a bomb threat. A lot of students were making jokes that our
school is from hell and the two teachers who got arrested and the kids who caused the
fire are getting are school sent to hell, lol. I wonder if we will make the news
tomorrow!

oh and
while I was reading that, a wind picked up outside and cracked the window next to
me, and I was at the part with the bomb threat, i have to admit it made me just about 6
inches.

He was the coach for the girls cross country team, and while they were at a
tournament in NC a few weeks ago, members of the guys cross country team tryed to
throw him in the hotel pool. To get away, he bit one of the students.
OUCH!!!
Its kind of ironic this happened, the same teacher a
few years ago apparently had sex with a sophmore, but there was never any proof.

Nothing like that has ever happened at our schools.

those links came up.
One messed up thing at my old middle school was
that a really fat kid jumped on a desk, which fell through a ceiling. (The ceiling was
already partially damaged from Hurricane Andrew, which had just happened, and was
being worked on after school.)

quite hard done by. I hope to God that you didn't give a statement to the TV
crews- here students and teachers have to go through the Local Education Authority
to give a statement, to protect our rights.
Talking about fire drills- our
teachers know if it's gonna be in the afternoon/morning and what day ect but not
the time. I was working up in Geography, and I could hear what sounded like a phone.
I thought it was the fire bell so I called the teacher out and told her. Then, we all rose
to our feet and looked outside- the whole school was evacuating! So our teacher
ran out and notified all the teachers in our block and we evacuated. The thing was, if
the fire was in our block we could have been dead. Luckily it was a drill. It's
because a new block had just been built and attached to ours, and the bells
hadn't been wired up again. Apparantly even the new block's fire bell
didn't go off- even though it passed an inspection. It's now been sorted-
but what if it was a real fire?

Over here, it is your own right if you want to talk to the media or
not. The kids who were interveiwed had their quotes cut up and aired how the media
wanted. They are just fame-seekers.
Anyway, the kid who started the fire
was arrested and will be tried for arsen. He is in jail right now. They caught him on
the security cameras. From what I have heard, it was a freshman.
Here is
a link to the school that had the gas main break.

These past few weeks have been kinda odd though. The weirdness started last week for the Homecoming Game.
Homecoming Football Game:No refs were scheduled. No game was played. Instead, the halftime show was done. They were supposed to announce the Homecoming Queen during the show, so in their hurry to set up early, somthing went wrong and the signal as to which girl won was set off early. In addition, the Homecoming Queen nearly stepped in horse crap (which incidentaly my sister was riding).
Homecomming Dance: Sucked, music sucked, DJ sucked, ect.
Today (Football Game vs. Cross Town Rivals): During the halftime show, some idiot from the other school runs around the field in a speedo waving the flag of the other school. Our wrestling coach chased him off the field (the idiot falls while tring to hop a fence). We ended up losing in the last seconds though.
My guess is that next, prom will somehow be cancelled.
Good thing my senoir year isn't 'till next year. Go class of '06!

Several of the windows on the doors leading outside have been smashed my students and some people like to jump up and the ceiling and thrust their fists into the ceiling tiles, smashing them.Originally posted by sfmm_freak@Oct 16 2004, 01:31 AM
nope, nothing for my school... though a kid did break a single piece chair/desk. Yea, that was on the...news?

you said that its the best school in the city. So go to another city for school. My middle
school, besides the fat kid falling through the ceiling, was pretty clean. So was my high
school.

people broke a window or two. Big deal; some people are just more immature than
others. What is your school like Nemmy?

OMGOD that is so funny! Did it hurt him? That just seems hysterical to me,
I'm sitting here laughing for 10 minutes thinking of it like how the fat guy in Old
School fell.

have one? I have served for 3 years on both Year and School council being a
representative for my year (if you are the School Council rep. you are automatically
on the Year Council). This year it was a democratic vote, and although I came third I
may have to stand in for the people who won- as I am the first runner up. It's
really good and is seen as like having another GCSE.

threats that were just stupid with no weapons involved and regular fire drills. Nothing
so far at my high school except losing the Homecoming game, which sucked. I
wonder if it has to do anything with going to a Catholic school. Amazingly, the high
school I go to is in one of the worst neighborhoods of Baltimore, and yet nothing has
happened. Some of you might know Baltimore (I think) is one of the major cities with
a high crime rate.
