Wow, that is just incredible. The loop looks so

perfectly supported and so well shaped, I'm just sure you will be able to finish

this in a great way.

But, look at the siixth picture. When you think about it,

the roll looks almost like a very strectched out and mis-shapen dive loop. Not that its

bad, in fact it came out very well, but I thought that you would just like to know.

Enjoy.

That's awesome and I love the element after

the immelman; very smooth and unique. Can't wait to see more.

Did a little bit of construction tonight, though as well

some fine tuning and refixing. I experimented with a six and a half foot lift, but wasted

any effort with all the big elements built in concrete (pretty much). After the vert,

there is now a brief lift hill, mainly needed to pull the train over the crest. Post lift,

there will be a combo turnaround/drop into the finale of track (gotta see how

construction turns out before I let you all in on my plans). Have a few pics of the small

lift, one of the roll and immelman. Enjoy...

(Pardon the lift supports, as they

are very haphazard and unfinished; just wanted to get the lift function quickly. I'll

be going back through with thorough supports, as I just purchased a SS on ebay last

night)

Looks nice and smooth. . .good job.

Hope

the rest of the coaster is as l33t as what you have is.

Debut Soon: Spartacus....

I got a fourth

set this past weekend and have been quick to close this ride up. Almost all track is in

place, save the last turnaround into the station/lift. All is functioning properly finally,

and the coaster should be finished within a few days. Just a couple sessions building

and cleaning and photography; then you guys will get your taste.

Question

(unrelated to topic): Has anyone had trouble getting into threads by clicking the page

number buttons/tabs? I can't read any of them, in any of the forum areas, and it

sucks. The sites' been slow loading too, but hopefully it'll be cleared up

soon.

Well, fellas...In tune with my usual build time (6

months), Spartacus is ready for riders. The last bit of the coaster just seemed like hell

for me because all the cool elements were already done. I apologize for the stall in

reports, but here's the stats:

Total Track Length: approx.

79'-4"
Run Time: approx. 55 seconds
Inversions Total:

5
Lift One Height: 5'-6"
Immelman:

3'-6"
Zero-G Roll: 3'-0"
Vertical Loop:

2'-6"
Lift Two: 2'-5"
Corkscrew:

2'-0"
Inline Twist: 1'-2"
Ride Area:

Roughly 10' X 6.5'

I have a horde of pics, but I'll

hook you all up with some good overviews and element shots. Enjoy, and FEEL FREE

to give me some feedback about the outcome of the ride.

That turned out good. The immleman looks great.

That is one of the best loops I have ever seen! The figure-8 barrel roll segment

is awsome! The helix at the end wraps everything together! It is also well

heartlined. Great job

10/10

Pros:
height
loop
rolls

Cons:
none

yes i agree with everyone else here....extremely

awesome coaster. You are definitely an awesome compact builder. But the inline

twist looks more to me like a heartline roll. but call it whatever, it still rocks.

crazy

I appreciate all the good praise for the ride. To be

honest, the ride has dominated my room for months, and I've come to dislike it

(all I can do is sleep in there). I've reviewed every support and track segment

and know where all the improvements could be made (with the extra pieces I

don't have). Glad you all liked it, and hopefully I'll get my first M.O.M. (as

an after thought).
