realistic than only 1 lift but it would allow for two or more inversions. What do you
think?

style='color:purple'>Well my reason is nobody here in the forums has actually made
all the inversions listed work on their roller coaster and also i have never seen a
working inclined loop. Besides two lift hills is so boring you have to sit there and wait
again for the train to reach the top and he might not have enough pieces for all these
inversions and "possibly more" because thats probably one of the main
reasons people dont finish their models so in conclusion the first one is better because
he has a better chance of completing it. P.S. i highly doubt a cutback will work on

barrel rolls is alredy built and work perfectly! I probably can fit another barrel
roll in. If I add another lift, it would be right next to teh first lift but not as tall. Then I
could add a diving loop or immelman and then a inclined loop or a corkscrew or
something. It depends on how high the 2nd lift is. The first 3 inversions already are
built and the train completes them.

hill and you are doing the 2 lift then why would you ask our opinions in the first place if
they really dont matter to you at all

I was going to build 2 lifts. That is what the poll is for. I want to know what the
people on this site think I should build. That last post of mine I said "IF" I
build a 2nd lift...blahblah. I never said I am going to. It is undecided. Read the posts
more thoroughly next time.

do with the 2nd lift hill. I'm more impressed when people try to do more with
just one lift. And I agree with Coastergod... watching the train go up the liftf is not
that exciting. That's why I generally just build models with one lift. I know
Crazy Comet had two lifts, but that was because I had to fold the lift "in
half" for lack of space and I wasn't sure at the time how to make the lift
steeper. But, yeah I just like to see one lift even if it means a shorter coaster.

hand cranks get the train up my 7foot hill in 3 seconds!
Greg, you brought
up some good points. However, I could fit lots more elements in with a second hill.
More elements would make the ride more interesting and I could use all of my sets to
their full potential. Although over half of you think 1 lift is better, I am still
undecided.
Keep you opinions coming! It helps me decide.

such lifts are usually pushing giga limits (if you want hills and multiple
inversions), making it just as timely to watch as a 5 footer and 3 foot second lift. Lots
of great real coasters have two lifts (Lock Ness and Big Bad Wolf at BGW), and two
lifts are a lot more resourceful on the energy sucking SS. But what can I say, since
I'm building a two lift model now. Build whatever comes to you that sounds
intriguing, because its really all up to the model you're building at the time, and
either plan has evidence of being awesome.
Westside: how tall and long is
the ride now? A second lift may not be necessary but hey, if you got the pieces, why
not go for it.

cutback, and two barrel rolls really drain the speed. A second lift would be about half
the size and might include a few more inversions and some nice turns/helixes or
something.

susceeded on many of my coasters. I think you should higheten the 1st lift, smoothen
out the coaster and add more inversions, the bes of both worlds, or options for that
matter.

already 7 feet high and my ceiling is 8 feet! I am not going to the trouble to
make it higher because it won't add that much speed and then i would have to
redo the supports, loop, etc. The track is already smooth enough. I just think sexond
lift could give the ride a nice finale.

add some more inversions and elements in because the coaster is too short.
Anyways, the friction problem on these model coasters is unrealistic!

You really shouldn't
make 2 lifts , that would be unrealistic. It looks good so far, but if you add another lift,

suspending ones, and coal mine ones, top 10 coasters do not have it. and if you can
see all of the coaster, then in my opinion i would not use 2 lifts, but its up to you!
