sets (i really hope at least) and once i get those my first project will be a recreation of
the magnum. i may have to get creative to find space in my house, but you can expect
it to happen by early january. further updates as they come.

do Maggie but I only have 2 sets. I thought it would be simple because most of it was
straight. The pretzel turn, however would loose a ton of speed. Good
Luck!!!

your speed, though. Make sure the third hill isn't too big. I noticed when I see
people's RCT2 recreations of Magnum, they tend to make the third hill way to
big.

turn really stiff it wont loose too much speed. the last bunny hops arent that tall
anyway

heres a picture of the turn from the station to the lift. I took it last May. If you want
I'll give some pictures of mine to help ya out even though you've probably
gone to rcdb or some other places. Every little bit helps IMO.
EDIT:
The picture isn't much but it does show how close the track going to the lift and
the track going into the breaks is. If that makes any sense. Also I think before the last
break section theres another one(going east&west in your
drawling)(North&South@CP though) Sorry if I just confused you. I'll try to
draw out what I mean.

thanx for the advice. i
figue that if i make the pretzel turn really stiff it wont loose too much speed.
the last bunny hops arent that tall anyway
the radius of the turn rather than stiffness, the wider the radius of the turn, the less it
tends to bend and lose speed at the same time. If you make tight turns, thats were you
really need stiff supports. I think you would need more like 5 sets to do this though.
You would have to have like an 8 ft lift, 7 1/2 ft. drop and it would have to
be very smooth and laid out across very far. Then you gotta make the second hill
about 5 1/2 ft and bank it to 15-20 degrees or somewhere around there. Another
smooth transition there to the next hill and then you would make the next hill like 2 or 3
ft. Thats where you would lose the most speed because it hits the up-stop wheels and
those werent moving at all until then, that is where most of your concern should be.
Then the pretzel thing and make sure it is wide like 3 ft radius around the 1st side, then
a bit tighter on the second but not much. Then you would make another 2-3 ft. hill, the
40 degree bank and the bunny hops. If you can, I suggest adding tunnels to thier
proper locations to make it the most realistic, but do that after you worked out all the
bugs on the bunny hills.
TIPS:
1. Consistent bunny hills are tough,
they lose a lot of speed on them, try to maintain a high speed after the 3rd hill.
2.
When the train comes around a tight banked turn fast, add more supports.
3.
Less supports are needed if you cross every 2nd or 3rd bar.
4. Watch how you
make your supports on the lift, you will run out of pieces if you try to make it too
complicated like they are in real life.
5. When making the first set of brakes,
make it so the train stops after it clears the dip behind it, otherwise it could roll back,
unless you use bendy stick brakes.

all drained out. Just add a straigh section where the brakes should be.

I doubt he will even need
brakes b/c the speed will be all drained out. Just add a straigh section where
the brakes should be.
suppose he could do that too, but if for some magical reason it has some speed, take
my advice!

many replies i hope it
works out, it may only be like 5 or so feet tall (depending on how many sets i can get).
coasterfreaks oasis has a lot of bunny hops and is only like 3 feet, so its possible.
more updates as they come.

said there, I could have sworn there was breaks but I guess not. I thought I was
stopped there last time I went. By looking at pictures I was wrong.
BTW
squrial you need to slow down on the spam, make your own topic about your
Magnum. Hows come you can't think up your own coaster ideas? Some one
says they're going to build something and you reply with "next summer
I'm gonna build one too and it's going to be bigger and better than
yours." Its about time to shut up.

with the speed. Do you know when you think that you'll be done?
BTW Squriel, did you say shockwaver was 9 years-old, because his profile says that
he's almost 14. That would put him in my age group, 1990. So if you called him
9 which I thick is two years younger than you, he's two years older than you.
