I bought this scorpion about a year and a half ago. Built it right when I got it. But it would not make it around the track. So we contacted Coasterdynamix, and after checking the track again and again. Jack Rimer said to send the train in to him, so he could check it out, make sure the trains wheels were not defects, we did. He said it ran fine on his track. And sent it back. Once we got it we tried it again, no luck. We then thought it might be the track connections (We had the 3 feet track section stuff), so we contacted CD (Again) and asked what we could do. They sent us new track (They are really nice), 15 foot long each if I remeber correct. We took the 3 foot stuff off (Accidently wrecked it when we took it off). We put the 15' track on, and that helped, but no banana. We were so frustrated then, that we just left it alone. About six months later, we got it back out (We had left it together). And sprayed the trains wheels with silicone spray. The trains got worse. Then we found that there was lots of hair in the wheels, and the silicone spray had made more stick. Then we took the whole wheel assembly of each car apart, and soaked them in a anti-grease solution and picked all the hair out of them. Then after putting them back together, on the track, and tweaking the track a little. It worked. It kept working for a few months, then stopped. By then, I had enjoyed it. So I took it down. Now I want to sell it.
Right now the cars have hair in them, so you would need to take them apart, and clean them if you want to use them. The 3 foot track sections are pretty much wrecked, but we have the 15 foot sections. When I took it down, I counted the pieces, and I think we might have been missing one connection piece, and/or one other thing. But you could easily get that from CD for cheap or free.
