Well term one just ended here in New Zealand, and now that I have no homework (finally!) I thought I'd start on a small hyper coaster.
I've just finished the lift, crest, and pullout. It stands 4 1/2 gray rods tall. I still need to put the gears and chain on, and finish the pre-drop.

I'm new to the forums, but I've been "ghosting" the site for months, looking at other peoples threads.
I have 1 SS, 1 RR, 1 storm mountain, and a box of random assorted parts. However, my RR tubing is in a million pieces :sdd so I only have about one SS worth of tubing.

tip:
try to connect the supports to the track more!
at the moment, you have 4 connection with the track for the drop. try to make it to 8 or something

The overall shaping is nice, but where does the gear at the top of the crest go? Great so far though!

Hmm, I think i see a sharp spot on the crest, where you have layered your flexi rods. Apart from that it is a well-shaped coaster.

I also agree with Micheal G about more suppor to track connections.

Thanks for the tip, I'll do that.

Thanks, the gear has been added.

Well I added more support-to-track connections, and put the gear on the crest. I also moved the purple tubing further down the lift, so I can splice it there.

Looks good except for the pullout. It's either really straight, or too long from just looking at that picture. If you fix it so it's more like a curve, then I think you'll be good enough to move on. Anyone else agree?

I don't have a problem with the pullout, I think it is fine. As far as the splicing, just have 3 track connectors right next to each other and use the middle cross tie as the splice. It prevents a lot of problems.

If only I had more space/pieces/time.

Thanks for the tip.
I did some more work to the drop, I think it flows better now. Next is an overbanked turn right, but I have no idea what to do afterwards. Any layout ideas?
Update later today :D
