Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've just realized you can buy 2 (not too hard to get three) 6ft ferris wheels for that, have nearly 3x more pieces, yet still have the required parts to build that (Trust me, there's surely less than 6321 green rods there).

The Grandfather clock is a classic design, The large green gears that you can order from Knex are for the clock drive. The finished clock keeps good time and is fully operational.

Stig's track car unfortunately follows a pattern at Knex. The designer assumed that you could install two 1x2 (technic) bricks along the axis of a yellow micro-rod and still snap on the ends of the rods into connectors. Off by about 1 thirtieth of an inch. The company needs to have at least 2 employees separately assemble sets to see if they have actually fit before the sell the sets. There's a work around but the buyer shouldn't have to struggle with it..

They do Stig right, when you lift the visor up on the helmet there is now face! The legendary driver remains an international man of mystery. :-}

Knex is actually making more regular pieced sets now, or they will be, the "classic knex" series will come out this year (2012) along with another great creation with a small disapointment.

Every post is a love letter to a forum once full of innovation

You know what those are over priced ALOT! thats why i use ebay:P. But whats a rip off to me is that they remake the exact same coasters and say it's something different for like the same price as the original.

I also heard rumors that the probable new coaster for 2012 is going to be a classic knex coaster, but then with new trains? Would that mean that they'll use a totally different way for track, connectors and stuff??

^Prolly not, It might be like the RR trains, where the car was different but the track was the same.
