Okay, so I decided to take a trip to Thorpe Park today. Wanted some inspiration for a new coaster, and I'm going to recreate a ride in the park.

[big brother voice]
6:36 AM: Joe woke up.
6:59 AM: Breakfast, hot drinks, all that stuff.
7:37 AM: Left the house. Went by train via Waterloo (for anyone in London going, I'd recommend the overground / district line to Richmond then a train to Staines)
9:44 AM: Final bus
10:02 AM: Arrived at Thorpe Park.

Anyways, we got in, but a ton of stuff wasn't operating. Flying Fish being the only rollercoaster, and some flt rides were operating. To kick off, I started with Slammer.

It's an awesome ride, one of Thorpe's many amazing flatrides. It provides some nice -G's but doesn't last long enough. I'll give it a 3.75/5. Colossus then opened.

We went brack to the entrance, to do the flat rides over that side. There was no wait for Quantum (a typical flying carpet), so I got a ride on that. Suprisingly, it was quite intense. 3.5/5

Extremely close by was a Huss enterprise (Zodiac), and after ten minutes wait, I got on that. 3.25/5, again.

More stuff opened, now all the coasters except Stealth were up. I bought some fast-tracks. Pretty cheap, but you get allocated a time. Colossus and NI were £3, SAW WAS (lol) £4.50. And SAW WAS (lol) first.

Saw is a great coaster, although for the space Thorpe had it could've been a bit better. The blades don't even provide a headchopper, instead they could've gone further up the drop. 4/5.

I got in another ride on Slammer, then headed for Colossus. It was strange how Vortex's ride music was playing, but it's awesome. The drop is far too high up, it should've been dropped 10ft or so for more speed. It's still sexy, especially the under-heartlined heartline rolls. 4.75/5, would've been a 5 if I hadn't pushed the restraint in so far.

And at 12:20, I joined Nemesis Inferno's fast-track queue. It broke down once I was off. Another of my awesome breakdowns. A nice ride. Doesn't compare to Colossus. 4.125/5.

Had lunch, was nice. Calypso BBQ do nice ribs. I learnt that today. End of short sentences.

Stealth opened in the meantime, but I witnessed a rollback during testing. Other than that the ride was fully working. I joined the single rider queue, next to two girls, but I didn't have the same luck as my Adventure Island Rage breakdown. Instead, I just plugged in my earphones and listened to Now 79 for an hour. Wasn't worth the queue, but I did get back row. 3.625/5

Next, Detonator. Managed three laps in half an hour. I still had some stuff I wanted to do, so I left it at that.

I finished my checklist with one go on Samurai after twenty minutes. To save some time typing, here's the remainder. Vortex gets a 3.5/5, Rush a 3/5, Zodiac (second time), Slammer (third time), Colossus (second time, 3rd last row, 4.5/5), and then one more go on Stealth on the way out. I was allocated second row, but I snuck under for a front-row. EPIC WIN.

Awesome day, but it's left me a headache. :D Sorry there's not many pics.
Like I said, I'm currently recreating one of the rides I rode.
