I have seen some posts on this forum that lead me to believe lubing my cars with silicon spray will improve the speed of the cars. I am somewhat hesitant to try this. Will any silicone spray work or should I get a specific kind? Also, do I need to clean my car's axels before I apply the spray? And how much should I apply? Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ET

silicone spray is good but never lube the track or use a lube called wd-40.
also you should try a oil called 'singer" it works perfect.
and again never use wd-40.

I use silicone spray. How I lube my car is by spraying some in a dish and dipping a tooth pick in it and wipeing it on th axles. You may need to do it several times though.

Just make sure that you are applying the lubricant to the axles, NOT the wheels. Wipe off silicone spray that is on the part that touches the track. Also, don't lube VV cars (just for future reference).
Automation is my specialty
If only I had more space/pieces/time.
