i thought of a really good idea for a contest. each participant has to build the complete screamin serpent set. no modifications can be made to the track or supports. it has to be made completely from the instructions. then, each participant adds scenery and other things to the ride to make it more realistic, while THE TRACK AND SUPPORTS OF THE RIDE DONT CHANGE AT ALL. i think this would be a fun test to see who has the best scenery skills. if this seems like a good idea to anyone and they would like to help me in making this idea a reality, please post below....

i will need...
-3 judges total, me being one of the judges
-at lease 4 members to aprticipate

if enough people join, i will get help from the other judges to make a rules template

POST BELOW IF YOU WANT TO BE A JUDGE. YOU WILL HAVE TO BE COMMITTED AND VERY AVAILABLE. THE FIRST 2 PEOPLE TO SAY THEY WANT TO BE A JUDGE WILL BE GRANTED THE POSITION

I WILL BE POSTING UPDATES DAILY

Summer Heat is just around the corner so a build-off is not a good idea at this point. Btw is your shift key still broken? You caps seems to be working fine though.

I could be a judge.
I COULD.
And i will. As long as it does not interfer with Summer heat.

Apparently too lazy to use the edit function too.

If there is anything that annoys me the most, it's improper use of capitals (or the lack of it) and punctuation on a forum. I don't mind it on chats, but forums... RAAAAWR!

You click the edit button, and it pops your post back up in typing format to add/delete/re-write the text in your post.

That isn't OCD, it's very normal to type properly. It makes posts look less chaotic, easier to read and understandable.

While others may not voice themselves over such things there are many, many members who find it annoying as crap to read sentences like that.

Personally, I don't take anyone serious if they post like that, pretty much like how I don't take 9 year olds serious.

I'm amazed that even after a year on SSC you have no idea how this forum works, the EDIT button is below your posts and allows you to change your post after you replied. It's used to correct mistakes or rewrite entire posts. Double posting is generally frowned upon, therefore, if you want to say more, but if nobody has posted in the thread yet, you use the edit button to add in whatever you want to say.

I'm sorry. I will be sure to follow these rules. I don't spend everyday on SSC so I don't know exactly how everything works.

Can I be a judge and participate? If not I will be a judge.
Edit: I think this should be under unofficial contests.

Nice call, thanks for the heads-up -Maxlaam

If you want to set up an unofficial SSC contest, I suggest you do it at another time, not right when Summer Heat is about to start. I also suggest that you prepare that contest more thoroughly, less amateuristicly. Contact me when you think you have a contest ready, so I can decide whether you can proceed or not.
