They're easy to build, versatile, and allow me to connect tubes from just about any angle.
This is a vertical tube. I add an extra elbow at the end of the tube on one side.
It helps to keep it upright. And it keeps the tube from sliding around.
Here's a tube without the elbow because it's at an angle.
Instead of an elbow, I use a ladder to keep the tube from sliding around.
Many tubes and angles. All using the same kind of footers.
Happy building!

I noticed the base is not dual layer all the way through
Just for clarity. The second layer was removed for pictures.
some uprights are connected to the lower floor level and some the upper second level, is there a reason for this?
That might just be the angle... or the small size of the pictures.
I don't always build dual layer bases. But when I do, I prefer floor level connections.
