On Saturday the 22nd of September Jumpge and I went to Hershey Park!

We arrived there just before the park opened. When we were in the park, we ran to the back of the park to avoid the crowd.

When we arrived at Fahrenheit, there was no one there! I loved Fahrenheit. It's smooth as balls and the inversions are awesome. We rode it one time in the front and one time in the back.

Then we went on to Lightning Racer. This was my first dueling woodie. Just like on Fahrenheit, we were the first ones to ride the coaster that day. We both went on Lightning and then on Thunder. Then I stayed on Thunder and Jumpge went on Lightning, and then in reverse. Both us rode Lightning and Thunder once in the front and one time backrow. Lightning won both times.

After Lightning Racer, we went to Storm Runner. This was my first hydraulic launch, what a power! The tophat gives ejector airtime and there are some sweet inversions in this intense ride. We rode it front-row.

We walked more to the front of the park again and we chose to hit Great Bear. The pre-drop is pretty intense and the drop is great. I really liked this inverted coaster. We rode it back-row.

We checked out Skyrush but there was a very long line. We decided to go to the back of the park again. We rode Tidal Force and got soaked...

We hoped we could dry a bit on Wildcat. This GCI woodie is rougher than Lightning Racer, but still a really nice woodie.

From Wildcat we went to Wildmouse. These coasters are everywhere and they are quite uncomfortable, but for some reason I still like them.

Then it was time for Skyrush! The line looked a bit shorter than in the morning and we lined up. Actually the waiting time wasn't that bad: Only 35 minutes. We rode it on the wings in the middle the first time. The second time, we rode it back-row on the wings. What a beast! I never expected this ride to be so intense!

Then we walked to Storm Runner and rode it another time. This time back-row.

After Storm Runner we wanted to do Skyrush another time. Again back-row on the wings. About the restraints: I think the restraints are adjustable during the ride. So with all the forces and people pushing on them, it is not a miracle that they start squeezing your legs. During the ride you don't notice it much, but when your waiting on the brakes and in the station, it starts hurting. But it doesn't take away from the ride itself.

From Skyrush we went to its old neighboor: Comet. For such an old woodie, this one was pretty good. I really liked to ride such an old coaster. We rode it back-row.

Our last ride of the day was the good old SooperDooperLooper. Jumpge noticed that they smoothed it out. Definitely a fun ride.

We loved Hershey Park!

Darn, I had the opportunity to go to Hershey that evening, but I passed because of prior commitments. It would have been nice to meet fellow SSC members

Sounds like you got a lot of good rides that day. Certainly much more than what you would've got if you hadn't used the classic theme park tactics. A fun time was had I think.

The reaction we both had when the waves on Tidal Force hit us at the end was awesome-
A 10 second wait to take in what had just happened, then we yelled at the top of our lungs!

I didn't realise Hershey park had so many awesome coasters in it. If only I lived closer... The pictures look great. Seems you had pretty good weather again. You probably needed it after Tidal Force haha.
