[Kool Coaster Kid]

Here's a contest for ball machines

Goal: To build the smallest ball machine possible containing 2 paths

Rules:
-The ball machine is to have no more than 1800 pieces (including chain links)
-The ball machine MUST contain 2 paths. No more, no less
-The ball machine must run K'nex balls only
-Only regular (standard) K'nex is aloud in this contest
-No non-knex item is aloud
-Each path must contain at least 1 element (spiral stairs, loop, slide, flaps, spinners, etc)
-The contest starts on October 28, 2012 and finishes on November 30, 2012
-The contest dates are also the building time frame
-A clip of the machine running as well as at least 10 pictures is required
-The contest is open to any and every member

Judging:
- I (kool coaster kid) will be the one to judge
-I will base the scores on creativity (10), size (10), and general appearance (10) The top score would be 30.


I need at least 3 participants, but will take as many as who want to join

Is it ok to use marbles instead of knex balls? I mean i know nothing other than knex but would this be an exception?

^ sorry, but using marbles would give a unfair advantage to scale down elements.

I MAY join. I think I will. :)I'm like 70 % at the moment. Are motorized madness ball allowed? I'd presume so.

^ Yes, they are produced by K'nex, so they are allowd.

I'm a little confused about the size scoring. Does the contestant get more points for a smaller machine or larger machine?

The smaller it is, the higher the score.
