A couple weeks ago, I got back into RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. A few years ago, I made an indoor/outdoor amusement park in that game, which was never properly completed and had a different name, and I'm currently making a new one based on the first one I made. It's called Smithy's World! The park is named after my best friend, whose nickname is "Smithy".

I started making it a couple days after getting back into RCT3, and I already have an idea about the size of the indoor section, which is currently being worked on. The indoor section will have two areas. One area will have rides ranging between gentle and moderate to high thrills. The other area will have more rides ranging between moderate and most extreme thrills. The outdoor area will have a water park and other rides that are better off being outdoors.

What I've done so far:

THE FIRST INDOOR AREA




So far, the first indoor area has one roller coaster, and a good amount of flat rides. It includes a sitting area with flowers. In the first one I made a few years ago, it had a roller coaster going around the entire area, so I plan on adding that. I'm not yet sure on how it's layout will be. This area is focused on having gentle rides and thrill rides that are not extreme. I already know how high the ceilings of the first area will be, but depending on other rides that will possibly be added to the area in the future, it will be raised.

THE SECOND INDOOR AREA








The second indoor area has two rides that I think stand out well for the park. The green launched coaster, which was in the first park I made, has a layout similar to Hershey Park's Storm Runner, except the top hat and final hill are different. The other ride is the skycoaster. Yes indeed, it will be indoors. A skycoaster has never been built indoors in real life, so seeing one in RCT3 can be crazy.

The other rides in the second indoor area are the wooden roller coaster and more flat rides. The flat rides have thrills between moderate and extreme, but I will add a couple gentle rides there as well. The height of the ceilings will vary, as the launched coaster and the skycoaster are taller than the planned height for the ceilings in the first indoor area.

THE WATER PARK


So far, the water park has only seven rides, but I will add more. I don't have a lot to say about the water park right now.

THE OUTDOOR AREA
The plans I have for the outdoor area are to have a giant ferris wheel, as well as a hyper coaster going around both the indoor and outdoor areas. Some other rides will be in the outdoor area as well, but I don't have any other plans or ideas for it now.

Looks good but I think you should have the highest parts of the coaster stick out of the roof like the tophat.

I made some additions to the park today. It's just two flat rides, and four water slides.

Update:

Today, I decided to add more stuff to the park, which was two water slides, two flat rides, and a roller coaster.

The roller coaster goes around the perimeter of the first indoor area. It has two underground sections. It's currently unnamed and it's scenery is being worked on.










Since I'll be on vacation in Las Vegas later this week, I won't have another update until next week.

Update:

It's been a couple weeks since I played RCT3, so I decided to do some work on the park. I only added two water slides, a shuttle coaster, and expanded the unnamed white coaster.

Last night, all I did was work on the scenery for the white coaster. I've opened it, and named it City Sweep.

Last night, I added two water slides, three flat rides, and made additions to City Sweep's scenery.

While working on the park, I added the hyper coaster. Unfortunately, the game crashed when I finished it, and I couldn't save it beforehand. I didn't want to stay up all night making it again, so I took these pics and went to bed. I will have the hyper coaster built in the next update.

Update:

Earlier today, I added the hyper coaster going through both the indoor and outdoor areas. It has three underground sections. I also added another roller coaster as well. Both of them are currently unnamed.

The second roller coaster I added was a roller soaker, complete with paths under the track for the non-riders to get wet.

Earlier today, I worked on the supports for the hyper coaster, and added two more coasters. The hyper coaster and roller-soaker are now named.

It's been a month since my last update, mostly because I've been focused on my college work, and Grand Theft Auto 5. I've played RCT3 last night and worked on the park. I've added 2 roller coasters, 5 flat rides, and a mini golf course.
