As some of you may know I went to KI on Monday. I rode all of the roller coasters except Vortex, because no one wanted to go on it(and they said that it always gives you headaches so I didn't want to ruin the day because of one). I have to say that Diamondback and Firehawk are my favorite. Firehawk because the feeling that you flying and going to fall out are awesome! And Diamondback because of the airtime and freedom that you have. At first I was a bit skeptical about the seats because you only have the lap bar but once I got on it I felt really secure. Here are the times I rode each coaster and where in the cart(they are also in chronological order):

Firehawk: 1 time in the third to back.
Flight of Fear: 1 time in the middle.
Diamondback: 3 times, 2 in the very front and 1 near the back.
The Beast: 1 time in the middle.
Then we went to the water park....after that...
Flight Deck/Top Gun: 1 time in the very front

I wanted to stay later to ride some thrill rides but my brother and my cousin were being losers and were not wanting to do anything and eventually make everyone go home.

If you can get your head above the OSTRs, then Vortex really isn't too bad. Sorry you didn't get to ride it.
But at least you got to ride a legendary woodie and one of the best of the few remaining Arrow suspendeds.
