Hey guys. I got my hands on an unopened box for the large Motorized Madness Ball Machine, so I tore it open and put it together (every set is worth building once before you absorb the parts).

I cannot say I am impressed.

The green track that the ball rolls on is rather rigid. Not in the strong sense of rigid (which is good), but the kind of rigid where it's hard to put it in the right position in the first place.
There's parts of the spiral where the ball will sometimes fall off if it has enough speed or a support has disconnected (which is sadly common). The ball return area is sadly flawed, as the balls bounce out about a third of the time, usually from the drop at the end of the spiral.

The two ball arms, while basic, works surprising well. As does the vertical drop with clickers. It's pretty hard to screw up a vertical drop.

And since it's all micro-knex, it's not really useful to absorb the parts.

Sooo yeah, meh. I can't complain too much for $10.
