Those corks are quite good I must say. As for a name, how does Thunderbird sound? I googled purple mythical creatures and found that one. here

Hope you win this!

Those interlocking corkscrews look absolutely wonderful.

thanks :)

^ Beautiful is an understatement.

I'm excited for the final video! Also, I think a good name with the mythical theme would be something like The New Loch-Ness Monster would be a cool name.

yeah thats a nice idea:)

It's so beautiful! Those corkscrews are perfect! How about Chimera for the name?

thank you sir:)
uh that name is nice !

Thunderbird sounds epic ! and with the purple thats really nice:)
If there is no name thats nicer than this one, I'll take thunderbird.
I may add some white accents to the train.

Thanks but there is a problem with the interlocking corkscrews
It looks like the train goes with a lot of speed through the first corkscrew but then It just loses speed so fast!!
As you can see here in this test video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1zvNniru1Q&feature=youtu.be

I really don't know what to do because you all say my coaster is pretty good and might win and of course I want to enter summer heat but It doesn't work and If i would change interlocking corkscrews into a cobra roll I have to build this as well and that would coast some time...
it really sucks .. thats what I hate on building coasters If you really put everything into them but they still not work perfectly 😭

I thought it might comes from the way the corks are driven as you can see on pictures on page 4 the first corkscrew ends and changes curve direction. On almost every real floorless coaster the corks are gone through from the different direction
Scream! is the best example for this: it comes from the right corkscrew , my coaster from the left ....

Mmm, what i think that you could do is make the turn after the first corkscrew bigger and higher and then if it dont works make the second corkscrew a bit lower. Looks sick!!

^ thats about all you can do really. The way it slowes dowd is almost like there is a bump in the track or it hit something or something.

I would personally raise the turn and lower the corkscrew ever so slightly. Apart from that this looks fantastic!
Only other thing that might help is weighting your train more. I personally have one AA and one AAA batteries under my front car and then one AA and 2 AAA batteries under my other trains - it makes the train run really well, but can sometimes be a little heavy if the supporting is weak.
Hope this helped!

It really does seem to lose a lot of speed just there and not really too much anywhere else. I do agree with Remco in making the turn higher and perhaps spacing things out a bit more because from the pictures, it all seems just a little cramped in. But I have to say, the rest of your shaping is absolutely perfect.

I fifth the notion of raising the turn.

My first guess would be there is a cross tie loose from the tubing.

Definitely make the turn between the corks taller and wider. It seems that you may have hit a limit in the cars' turning radius. Have you lubed the side wheels recently? those would be the ones taking most of the force from that turn, and if they're not lubed, that's killing your speed too.

I looked for big mistakes in layout, but nothing

Ok shank you Muzz I'll figure a good weight out

I did but It didn't work:(((

My first guess would be there is a cross tie loose from the tubing.

nope , nothing like that😕
I tested every way of putting interlockings corkscrews but they never worked so I decided to leave the turn and move on from there to mojo roll above a little lake;)
If I'm good in time I'll finish until weekend but still hope to do so earlier:)

thats what I watched too.
I definitely have too re-lube tires before final run:)
