With the past few months being super busy for me, and having very little time to build. I had to settle on building something fairly small. A wild mouse style roller coaster has been on my list of models to build for a while, so I decided to give it a go.
To get the tight radius's I just unscrewed and removed the bottom wheels on the train cars. It's a little bit of a challenge to get several train cars all running at the same speed. Right now I have 4 cars each weighted differently to get them traveling at a consistent speed.
I'm hoping to finish things up on this in the next week or two and start on the video. So if there is anything you think I should add or change, let me and know and I'll get to it!
I'm in love with the colour scheme, as well as the rest of the quality of the coaster of course . Does it give any problems running multiple trains on this? I mean they sure will have nearly the same speed, but after a while they might collide, right?
The fantastic colour scheme and detailed theming make this Wild Mouse stand out above most other Wild Mouse coasters I have seen so far. I look forward to seeing the video of this ride, very well done!
This was a bit out of the blue but I'm not complaining. I still wish I had that many pieces so I could choose unique colour schemes to make coasters look as amazing as yours.

Oh wow, great job. I love the grass floor along with everything else. My favorite part is definitely the theming. Keep building!
I bet you have enough knex to build an entire park. I dare you to build a park. PLEASE.
Thanks! I completely missed the small text first time reading your post. I'd love to be an entire park someday when I have the space.
I love all the little details and color coordination. This is really well done.
Thanks!

Yes, eventually they do catch up to each other, while filming I was able to run it for about 10-15 minutes before I had to re-adjust the trains a bit. My goal is get into automation someday...

I love the way you just casually decided to build this, yet you managed to make a really quite wonderful little coaster, with theming and all!
Don't think anyone can complain about this - a neat, very-well executed build for sure.
Good to see you back!
Thanks!
That's really sweet. And good job on that grass. I may use that in the future.
For your reference, I used an 18 liter tub of green connectors for this coaster. I think if I did the grass again, i'd add some different elevations, instead of just flat. I think that would look awesome.
Wow. That's pretty much all I can say! Looks fantastic.
Thanks!

If you keep collecting parts, you'll get there! I know the exact feeling you're in
Put together the video this weekend. Hope you guys like it. It sucks having such a long break from video editing, I always have to relearn how to do things. Guess I just need to build more frequently.
