Hey everyone,

I hope you all have been doing well these past four years! Life kinda happened to me, and after a rather long hiatus, and an amazing college experience, I thought it'd be time to return to building coasters. However, pictured below isn't my usual micro coaster setup. With my return, I wanted to try something different, challenging, and exciting. Stay tuned for what's to come, and it is great to see you all again!

My second attempt at a Eurofighter! I gotta say, building with SS is very different (and a lot more painful on my fingers) than VV. The track is very difficult to shape, more so than VV. Anyway, let me know what you guys think!

Hey, welcome back. Glad to see you building again. I like what I see so far. If there was anything to change, I’d say that the pullout of the drop starts a little too high. But that’s an extremely minor thing. I’ll be looking forward to your next update!

It's always interesting when a VV builder takes a turn with an SS style. Well, since this is a Eurofighter, the drop could be more exaggerated. Exchanging those blue rods for white/silver rods at the spot where the track becomes vertical would make a world of difference. Plus, that would also make a better transition into the pullout - of course, you would need to adjust that, too. Just to be clear, I'm talking about the blue rods directly across from where the yellow half moon spacer chain guide as well as the other blue rods one red rod below it. I would also comment about the bad spacing of the X-ties, but whatever works for you works for me. :)

I'm not done building yet.

Thanks for your feedback! I followed your guys' advice on the drop pullout and the crosstie spacing. Since this is my first SS, I'm honestly playing it safe and not taking any risks with complex elements. Hence, here's an immelman. For the next few elements, I'm thinking about a vertical loop, followed by a helix, and then maybe one or two more inversions.

For a first SS coaster this is impressive but having seen your VV coasters I'm not surprised.

The immelman has one or two little bumps as it goes vertical but the overall shaping is great, I love the style of your tubes as well.

I do think having a 5 car train on a ride of this style looks a bit weird though. If you had a 3 car train it would be like an intamin vertical lift, and you could always add some weight if needed. I take the people out of the train too, but that's just personal preference.

Layout sounds solid, for some reason I always find vertical loops difficult to build, if they're not exactly symmetrical they just look wrong. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it.

Looks like you got a really solid start there, I like the amount of tubes.

But it looks like if you would compress the tubes, the rods will slide. Is this done intentionally? It will cause deformation overtime if the ride is active.

It's great to see another coaster from you in the works! The pullout on the Immelmann looks splendid but a bit drawn out at the end, hopefully that will look better when the next element is added.

Haha thanks! I'll take care of the bumps and the cars (I switched to using 3 cars). I also added weight to the cars which increased the speed drastically (as expected).

Thanks homie. Yes, this is a method that I use in my micro coasters because it allows for future customization if needed. I've never personally experienced the tubes sliding and shortening over time with any of my previous coasters, but that might change since I'm building with SS.

Thanks man. Take a look at the next element, I think the pullout looks a lot better with a subsequent element attached.

Anyway, here's the vertical loop. The train flies through it, so I might make it bigger, but I overall really like the speed. Note: the loop may look lopsided in that second picture, but trust me, it's not.
