welp, it had to be done.

thought this would be a nice short one to start off the year.

ive been really into tube supports reicently. never used to build with them before as i couldnt get the forces / stability right but i think ive got it down now.

I didn't know thorpe was planning a new coaster.

 

Looks great so far. 

 

I look forward to seeing this one go up, it has some interesting elements and cool structures to incorporate.

Nice, looking good so far.  I never got too far into experiment tube supports but seems like they can work really well.  And the payoff seems super worth it. Excited to see how it turns out.

I have compleated the first element!!! its going to look a bit off at this scale but its all the room i have. to be a real 1:24th scale I think it would have needed to be about 12 foot lmao thats not happening

I'm a bit concerned with the train being able to make the layout. There's several twists in the layout that seem like they would subtract a lot of speed.

got some work done on the exodus recreation. ive rebuilt the drop and made the overbank

dont worry it made it over with a bit of spare speed, I use ball bearings for wheels

Ah. It looks good so far, but I'm going to nitpick here: the overbank has a sharp spot. It's just before the pullout starts. Hmm... brb.

This is looking badass!! I love the support work so far. Some of the tubes look a little bit strange...the angles they're leaning at... but other than that really cool!

Wow! Really nice speed conservation, especially with that twisted drop and amount of rolls! Its nice to see modern elements in a K'nex coaster!
