I realized that on the standard Vekoma boomerang

ride, the 2nd lift hill has a chain lift...this chain lift takes the car up the 2nd hill. All of a

sudden the hydrolics give out and the whole chain lift drops out from under the car,

allowing the car to plummet back down the hill.

I am going to try to apply

this technology to the knex coaster.

The only exceptions is that: 1) I wont

have hydrolics, but simply a pin that is pulled. 2) depending on how i do it, i might have

to use outside materials (materials other than knex; i already know i have to use a

rubberband to hold the chain hook up.)

Ill show pics when im ready.

What do you think?

that is a waste of knex what if you cut the ties and then

it does not work you will be stuck then wont you

knex crazy welcomes you aboard stunt fall you will experience 5 times your own body weght at a top speed of 70mph you will now experience vertical reality

Well on my Vekoma Flashback model I had a second

lift. It caught on to a 45 degree conector and brought it to the top then the connector

would go under the track along with the chain and then the car would drop it worked

really well! here is a pic.. :D

i think the connector is the best idea, if i were you i

would spare the knex ties.
