I'm soon getting a set of one of the Coaster

Dynamix sets. I will be getting it and making a recreation of Batman and Robin: The

Chiller at GADV. Now, I'm not just recreating it, no, I'm making it

realistic. I'm talking supports, themeing, custom trains, a launch, brakes. The

whole deal. Now, right as of now, I'm not sure how I'm going to do all of

this. I'm starting to plan it out on how I would do this put I'll keep you

update on what is happening and how I'm planning it. BTW, this is a perminent

model.

Now, I have a space issue in my room because thats where

it's going. I need to design something that can be realistic on a 10 by 3 foot

area. I'm trying to make it so I don't have a problem and making it so I

can move some furniture out of the way.

Anways, I'll keep you guys

updated!

So what kind of coaster is this going to be? You said

that it wouldn't be a floorless, it won't be an inver, so what, are you going

to make custom sit-down trains? If so, that'd be so cool! I like the way this

sounds!

Dude, one set will not be enough, lol. You'll

need to buy extra pieces.

One set has 40 feet of track! I think thats

plenty...

Anyways, I have a way of making custom trains out of the trains

they give you. You'll just have to see how it comes together to see. it wont

resemble it 100% but come fairly close. Also, the trains WILL have OTSR.

Good luck dude. Also, some of the structure (expecailly

the launch ramp) will be made out of k'nex and painted. Even the observetory

might be.

What is the

launch? Your not telling me you'd have the lack of sense to launch $96

trains with a rubber band? Why don't you try really using magnets, power them,

attatch them to the trains and make sure their the opposite, and bing! you have a

beautious Chiller.

Very much so, and

it would probably look realistic too, but a problem would be turning them on and off so

it doesnt just come back and like"bounce" back.

Right. I don't even know how they work too. So

I'd have to do some reserch which I've tried reserch before. I would love

just to have a control pannel for the ride. A "LAUNCH" buttom and a

"BRAKES" button. Two for both sides.

Or no, get CC to

send a sound recording of a launch and maybe a launch line, and play it before a

launch, and make a video of it like an Xtremecoasters vid. That would be sooooooo

awesome.

Now I am doing realisim here...but sounds are not

included. Besides...there are no sounds! I only know there are because

they're hard to hear and you can here when your going to launch!

It's the sound of brake clamps opening one by one down the line,

pause...LAUNCH! If you want to talk to me further about this...AIM.

Simple to prevent the push forward on its way back

just use electro magnets.....get you hand on some normal peices of steel or sommithink

metal(but a length or rod cut it up) wrap a peice of wire around the metal simple place

some sort of current usin battery packs or a genarator (sp) then simple link every

single one of them to a switch simply turn it on the metal will become an

electro-magnet then when the train come backturn them off and there will be no

magnatism what so ever......im doing this in science i was thinkin of usin it on knex but

its just a very professional way of using some sort of launch mechanism instead of a

'rubber band'.

The question is..will it be able to rocket a train fast

enough to make it to the spike LIMs?
