After driving 2.5 hours all the way to Brühl, Germany, we arrived Phantasialand.
Before we parked the car, we drove by Black Mamba.
For the first time I saw B&M track in real life. :eek:

We entered the park through the Chinese entry, and because I am in love with Japan and China, I took some pictures of the theming.





Our first ride was River Quest, a wild-water ride. Well... we got SOAKED.
It had some deep drops, some where about 20 feet!





Next was a 220 feet tower ride. The theming was great, there were even people to scare you when you don't expect.
I thought we would be lifted up to the top, while watching a movie.
But when we got in our seat, the light went out and WOOOSSHHHH we were at the top in a mere 3 seconds. We stopped at the top for another 3 seconds and then were launched half-way down again (major airtime!).
The whole ride (excluding the queue) was about 15 seconds though.



After that we went back to the Chinese part of the park, rode a darkride - which shouldn't be mentioned .



Next to the darkride was the first roller coaster of the day! Colorado Adventure, a very very cool mine train coaster. We rode it backseat, caught lots of airtime, but also faced lateral G's. Because we were in the back of the train, we were still in the helixes while the train was already slowing down (causing the lateral G's). It had perfect theming.





Since it was next to Black Mamba, I tried to get pictures of it... but there was only one part of the coaster that could be seen.



On our way back through the Chinese part, I saw something I couldn't resist to get on picture.



Next ride was a Western darkride... it sucked.
Luckily there was a cool log flume next to it, so we caught some water in there. No pics though (duhh...).

While my parents searched for a place to sit, my brother and I ran to Condor, a 100 feet tall Huss tower. [http://www.hussrides...ssiccondor.htm]
It was a little boring, but since it was next to Black Mamba, I took lots of pictures of the construction site.



















Black Mamba is gonna be cool. :cool: I walked to the entrance of Deep in Africa (still closed) to get more pics.









Next ride was a monorail Good time to take some pictures:





















After this I parted from my parents and went down the other end of the park, where 3 roller coasters were located: Temple of the Night Hawk, Winja's Fear and Winja's Force.
Temple of the Night Hawk is a Custom MK-700 indoor roller coaster with THREE lifthill (not boosters, but chains). It had lots of turns and was really long compared to Vogel Rok (the Custom MK-700 indoor roller coaster in my hometown park).
Winja's Fear & Force were two duelling Maurer Söhne spinning coasters. The queue was really long, about 40 minutes. :eek:
We first rode Force normally, then Fear backwards. It was a really cool experience!

Many hours had passed and we met our parents again. Together with all my brothers I went to Race for Atlantis, a simulator. The screen where the movie was projected on was HUGE, and the simulator smashed you to every side (good, because the video was about the fight between Neptune and a demon).

Last ride was Mystery Tower again, the launch is really cool.

And that was Phantasialand. I will go back in September, to ride Black Mamba! :cool:

Lol those are some great pics....You had never seen a B&M ever before that??? It was funny how you think that 40 minuetes is a long wait....over here some coaster lines are 3 or more hours. When De'ja'vu first opened at SFGA the line was 5 hours it was crazy.....Once again those are some crazy pics.

Were you surprised how big the B&M track is? I was the first time I saw it in person... much bigger than pictures had made it out to be.
