[Chaos]

Well, it's finally time. I'm making my next big coaster. I hope to build this "B&M" coaster in time to enter it in the Top Model Contest, so there will constantly be updates. I got a curtain rod that strengthens the lifthill, which allows for more realistic supports. I'm also trying to make this the first coaster that actually uses a block brake system with the Lego NXT. Please comment.

Finally I get to see you build again. The lift hill and everything looks good, only thing I don't like is the straight drop out of the trims...

It's update time! I tried to fix the drop, and I did the B&M pre-lift drop. What do you think?

Dude, the predrop is niiiiiiiiiiice. The drop from the trims looks great now too. I can't wait to see more!

The pre-drop looks like The Kraken's pre-drop at Sea World Orlando.

^^Most B&M coasters have pre-drops, is reduces the force on the chain...

Looks good, can you get a side view of the pre-drop though?...

Looks great. Good idea with using an NXT, my brother got one for christmas and immediatly I thought of using it for a coaster!

Nice coaster. I like the lift and pre-drop. The pre-drop makes it look so much more realistic. The layout is pretty neat too. How are you going to get to the block brakes area from the lift though because they are almost the same height?

Okay, I finally had time to post another update. I finished the drop, and zero-g-roll. I REALLY hope not to have a second lifthill, so I'll just add a turn into the mid course brake run if I have to, although I want to add a cobra roll. Right now I'm trying to get the NXT block brake system to work.

The bottom of the drops banking is good, but the start of it is bad. It should flare out to the left, then bank into the turn, atleast, that is if your looking for the B&M look...

The supports are missleading me. Are all the supports going to be changed to pipe supports or just the lift?

^Just the lift. Sorry I haven't been able to post another update this weekend, but my mom was using the computer for most of the day. I tried to make the first drop flare out, and completed the circuit, although I had to add a lifthill.( I prefer to call it an assisted brake run:))

I can't tell if the drop is flaring out or not, try to get a pic from the same angle as the 2nd pic from your last post...

I like the layout a lot, but the drop doesn't look too good. The problem is the top. The grey support needs to be moved over a small silver rod. That will leave the track slipped, if you are willing to retrack part of the ride.
