Adding a video is very easy and just involves a new BB Code, and the url of the image from YouTube, Google Video, MySpace, or MetaCafe. Also, be sure to only create threads or posts with videos in this forum only, so videos can easily be monitored.

To add a video, click the Posted Image button on the editor toolbar. It is next to the picture icon. Simply get the url of the video from your respective source and paste it in the box. Click okay, and when you submit the post, the video will be embedded in the post.

He's fine, he's just asking a question. It's not like he's making a "Looks good." comment on a 4 year old coaster.

Since the video button is gone, just type this to embed your video:

[*youtube*]id[/*youtube]

Remove the *'s and replace id by the id of a YouTube video.

To post a video with the id you need to do this...
take the video URL in my example I'll use smosh cat soup
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=EZjfZLTbnvY
Then I'll take the tags and put the ID (which in this case is EZjfZLTbnvY) and put it in between the video tags

It should look something like this
[video]EZjfZLTbnvY[video]
on in the second [video] tag it should have a / before it like this:
Hope that helps!

Okay, let's try again. Every YouTube video has a certain ID (identification). They can be found in the url. Here are a few of my video's as an example:

http://nl.youtube.co...h?v=ywUvWviOFac (Video update on new coaster)

http://nl.youtube.co...h?v=kE4ykgf0nss (Speed o' Fear)

http://nl.youtube.co...h?v=WqWSMKf4AQ8 (Olympus)

The ID's of these video's are bold to show them.

If you want to embed a video, type:

[*youtube]ID[*/youtube] (WITHOUT THE ASTERISKS)

Replace ID by the bold characters in your video-url.

P.S. I just reached 3000 posts. :)

Bumped, I know.....or can you bump a stickeyed thread?

I have looked at each of the above tries, and it was really hard to figure out how to get it. Here is mine:

It is slightly confusing:

1. Find the link and paste it into the post (don't post the post yet). I'm using Blindsided as my example:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=mSP6DoacMGs

2. delete everything BEFORE the = sign:

mSP6DoacMGs

3. make these youtube tags:

Hope it helps!

Did you try cardandcoasters' method?

EDIT: Well actually, what exactly isn't working?
