What you do is put spacers on the track. It might strip

some of the plastic but thats ok. But you need a ton of spacers and the train will go

considerably slower and the'll be super noisy!!!

First, what are these spacers?

Second, that

makes no sence.

Do you have a picture or something or can you tell it in a

little more detail?

Well you know those little spacers that you put on rods

to keep gears in one place? You just put those on the purple tubing and put on the

ties.

Sounds to me like a good way to make the train come

to a very sudden stop in the middle of the ride thus causing the passengers to get

whiplash and you to get inundated with lawsuits prohibiting you from operating your

coaster until you've reprofiled the track and added seatbelts and head rests to

the cars thus giving the coaster purists something to complain about.

In all

seriousness though, how would this help? Have you tried it? Does it work?

train will go considerably slower and

the'll be super noisy!!!

You can accomplish this by

not applying WD-40. The train will go slower, and will be a little noisier (but

still not as noisy as the Knex battery powered motor.) B)

Ok, that is

the worst idea I have heard for a knex coaster, why try to slow it down and make it

rattle?! It makes no sense, we have a hard enough time making coasters that

make it all the way through, let alone try to figure out a way to slow it down!

I think a way to make a realistic woodie is to make supports like I did for

Outlaw.....

Deffinitely agree Tyrant!, even with the miracle

of wd40, it is still very limited. Plus, why would you do that! it would probably

dent or scratch/bang the wheels/wheel assemblies up after a short time. Especially

since you would'nt be able to buy any more cars for the SS to replace your

banged up ones.
