I have a friend that has the rippin rocket. He tried the

screamin serpent cars on the booster and it dosn't work. This got me mad but it

also gave me an idea. What if I coauld make my own booster for screamin serpent? I

am really good with wood working and all that stuff. I coauld make a booster out of

plastics and materials found at Home Depot or Lowes. What do you guys think?

I think it would be hard. The SS serpant cars

aren't meant for boosters. The RR car has large fins that stick out that are the

actual parts that touch the boosters. The SS car doesn't have that. The sides

could get worn down easily. Also, I don't know if a motor would handle multiple

cars at once (a train of cars) The RR boosters only deal with one car and then have

to recharge for a second to get back up to gull power. You could try but It would be

difficult.

If I find out how powerful of a motor I need for one

car(motors like the rippin rocket) I will just find a motor that is 3-4 times stronger and

faster so that it might not need to recharge. The only problem that I might encounter is

when the train goes into the booster, it will have so much pull on it that the train would

come apart. To solve this I just take a zip tie and mput it around the cup part that the

second car goes into. I had to do this for TTD.

That could work but I just don't think the SS

cars are strong enough. The SS cars are very hollow but the RR cars have those

strong fins on the side. I would mosify the SS cars and add some type of strond

material to the sides that will work well with material on the booster discs. Are you

going to have plastic discs that propel the cars like RR or put foam around them like

the Hot Wheels boosters?

I will probably use the rubber wheels like the rippin

pocket. I will modify the car(for grip) by putting the sticky sandpaper (ike on

skateboards)on the sides.

LOL! Rippen POCKET! hehe...

I like the idea, but I agree that it would be very difficult.

So far I have the measurements for the booster. I might

start making pieces today.

insted of strting with the ss cars maybe you could

take the train hitches and put them on the rr cars to make a train.

Good luck. Maybe if you make a real good, working

motor, you sell them to all of us! J/K. ;)

I have not started it yet because I am in the process

of redoing my room into a coaster room. I am going to make a coaster model out of

wood to go in my room. I might start the booster after this weekend.

On the bottom of Westside7th's messages, it

says that his coaster INSANITY is the first rocket coaster with rr boosters and the

might not be true because I didn't post it, but I have a picture of my rr TTD

dated october 3rd. But INSANITY could've been before mine, but i'm

just saying it. That's all. Soryy to get slightly of topic.

INSANITY was built and running a lot sooner than

October 3rd but it just took me a really long time to get pics. The day after I took pics,

Insanity was demolished because it had been up for so long and I wanted to build

something new. I sure wish INSANITY could have ran with SS cars!

I am going to start makin my booster this weekend if I

can get my homework done(my tenth grade English teacher gave me two huge essays

to do at once). I am going to use two motors that are for R/C cars. Just one of the

motors can get a car, that weighs 3x the Screamin serpent train, up to 20 mph.
