If anyone is trying to make a lowering floor here is
a possible way to do it. Im still in the planning stage but you can put like a bag that
fills up with air. To raise the floor turn on a air pump like the one fish use. To lower
the floor just deflate the bag. Just let me know what you think. Im not sure if it would
work but it should
Idea for a lowering floor.

I think it would be less expensive if we just hooked it up
to a motor.
to a motor.

I would just make a hand crank.

Its just an idea and it would be fairly easy to do.

When I was making Quake awhile back, I was
fiddling with ways to make the floor lower, one way I made it was to put the floor on
rotating connectors, then when I wanted the floor down, I pushed it forward a bit, and
it lowered, and when I wanted it up, I pushed it up......I am sure someone could hook
up a motor to a connector on the floor, and turn it on forward to lower, and backwards
to raise.....
I think on my new coaster I will try to make the floor out of
lego, I can have a better gear system using the Technic gears instead of the Knex
ones....
Here is a picture of my gear system for gates, but in the
background you can see the floor gears.....
